Grace had enough of the way the guy had been treating her. She left school that day with determination in her steps to confront him and demand his name.
She walked towards him, her eyes fixed firmly on his face. As she grew closer, she could see the smirk plastered across his face. He knew exactly what was coming.
"Hey you," she said, standing right in front of him. "I want to know your name."
"Why should I give you my name?"
"Because I want to report you to the principal."
"Good luck with that," he replied with an air of arrogance. "They won't do anything."
Frustration boiled up within Grace. Why was this guy being so difficult? She tried again. "Please, just give me your name."
"No."
Grace gritted her teeth. She was not going to back down. She would not let him win. "If you're not going to give me your name, then I'm going to have to call you something. How about 'jerk'?"
The guy's smirk turned into a scowl. "You know what? I don't have to put up with this." And with that, he turned and walked away.
Grace watched him go, feeling a sense of satisfaction that she had stood up to him. But she also felt a sense of unease. Who was this guy? What was his problem? Why was he treating her this way?
