Grace's heart pounded in her chest as she sprinted towards the school building. The entire time, she couldn't help but worry that she might have missed her chance of running into the mystery guy whose attention she caught earlier.
When she finally made it to class, Grace did her best to focus on the lesson, but her mind kept wandering back to the moment in the park. She couldn't shake off the feeling that she was meant to meet this person.
Finally, after what felt like hours, the bell rang, and Grace bolted out of the classroom, practically skipping down the hallway towards the canteen. But, as fate would have it, the guy was nowhere to be found.
Grace tried to control her disappointment as she grabbed a sandwich and sat at one of the tables. She closed her eyes and let out a long sigh. Why did she care so much about running into someone she didn't even know? Was it just the thrill of the unknown?
As she sat there lost in thought, a group of girls from her class walked up to her table. They were chattering excitedly about some upcoming event, but Grace was hardly paying attention.
One of them, a girl named Lily, noticed that Grace seemed distracted and asked her what was wrong.
"Oh, it's nothing," Grace said, forcing a smile. "Just feeling a little off today, I guess."
Lily gave her a sympathetic look before resuming the conversation.
But Grace wasn't interested in small talk. She was still lost in her thoughts, trying to understand why she was so fixated on meeting this mysterious guy again.
As she finished her sandwich and got up to leave, Grace made a decision. She was going to find out who this guy was, no matter how long it took.
With a newfound determination, Grace made her way back to class, ready to start her search. She didn't know where it would lead her, but one thing was certain: She wouldn't give up until she found him.
