CHAPTER 14

The nearer Jacob get to their apartment his heartbeats is getting faster and stronger. Zander is pregnant! Were going to have a baby! He take out his phone again,for the tenth times he read the messages that Zander send him. The emoji and those weird things Zander did! He is undoubtedly pregnant. " Oh wait,” Jacob stop when he saw the supermarket just across their apartment. Napangiti ito bago tumawid. Hindi nito napansin ang isang kotse na mabilis na paparating.........

Napapiksi naman si Zander,He heard the loud sound of the car wheels, ang pag preno ng kung sino ang nag mamaniho at ang isang malakas na kalabog! Zander heart jump too. Napahawak ito bigla sa puso nya, his breathing becomes rapid. " What the f**k!” Wika nito sabay tayo, but then he suddenly fell sick, parang umikot ang paningin nya, He grab the nearest things para hindi sya matumba but accidentally he knock off the picture in the table and he dont have strength to catch it. His eyes just follow the picture fall and the glass frame broken in smAll pieces. The first picture of him and Jacob. Nahihilo man ay pilit na nag lakad si Zander somethings telling him na dumungaw sa bintana na naka harap sa kalsada. He saw people running. ". Someone call the ambulance!” Narinig nya pang sigaw ng isa. At di naman nag tagal he heard the siren of the ambulance. He wants to get away from the window but his feet is nailed in the floor,he cant even take away his gaze on the scene on the street. Napalunok si Zander, " Something's not right!” Wika nya. Kinakabahan sya na di nya mawari. His heart is hammering hard in his chest. Then his eyes land on the picture in the floor before he look outside again. He caught the glimpse of the man who is lying un the stretcher that the paramedics push inside the ambulance.

"J--acob!”

Parang binuhusAn ng malamig na tubig si Zander. Hindi syA maaring mag kamali. Si Jacob yun.

Mabilis nyang kinuha ang cellphone at tinawagan ang lalaki.

Nakailang ring din ang cellphone nito bago may sumagot.

" H-ello.” Wika sa kabilang linya.

Zander close his eyes, hindi si Jacob ang sumagot.

"S--i J- acob?” Nanginginig ang boses na wika ni Zander. Praying na sana hindi totoo ang hinala nya.

But there is this beep sound that Zander heard in the background. Hindi pa sya na ospital kaylan man but he is not that naive not to tell what is that sound.

" Sir, this is Officer Andrew. If you know the owner of this phone please come to the Victorian Kale Private Hospital, we are on the way there--”

Bigla na lang napa upo si Zander, his body is trembling.he felt his heart is crashing he cant breath properly. One sign that Jacob his mate is not in the goid condition. Its in their bond that they will feel when one is in danger..

Lakad takbo ang ginagawa ni Zander nang maka pasok sa loob ng hospital.

"Nurse, Jacob Kale, nasaan po sya?” Tanung nya when he reach the information desk.

Nag katinginan ang dalawang nurse na nandun, Siguro if Zander is not panicking at that time, nakita nya ang kakaibang tinginan ng dalawa.

" Ahm, nasa ICU po sya sir. Nasa 10th floor. Sagot ng isa.

Zander just nod and make his way to the elevator.

"Excuse me, are you okay? Someone ask him.

Zander nod, then shake his head. He is not okay! Who will be okay knowing that Jacob is lying somewhere in that hospital. Napahinga sya ng malalim nang bumukas ang elevator, pinauna muna sya ng lalaki papasok at sumunod ito. He look at the man beside him, naka scrub suit pa ito.

When Zander press the 10th floor, tumikhim ang lalaki.

" Oh your going to Jacob?”

Tumango lang si Zander,habang di mapakali sa kinatatayuan.

The guy beside him didnt talk anymore until they reach the floor where Jacob is. Pag lAbas nya sumunod din ang lalaki.

"You must be Zander?” Napahinto si Zander nang mag salita muli ang lalaki. Lumingon sya dito, and he gasped the person in front of him is the older version of Jacob.Mapag kakamalang kambal ang mga itoif this man is only as the age of his Jacob.

The man smile. " Im Jacob's father.” Nanlaki lalo ang mga mata ni Zander. He remember they never talk about his family. Ni wala itong nababanggit tungkol sa mga ito.

"He never mention he still have a family.” Halos pabulong na wika nyA.

" That's our Jacob. Baka nag hinhintay lang sya ng tamang pAg kakataon. Anyway we are happy he found his mate already Zander.” Nakangiting wika nito sabay tapik sa balikat nya. "Come this way.” Jacob's dad lead the way for him. Doon lang din napansin ni Zander na this floor doesn't look like a hospital. It's more like a hotel.

" By the way I'm Felix. But you can call me dad since your Jacob's mate. Here come in.” Wika nito sabay bukas ng isAng pintuan.

Its doesn't look like ICU to me. Zander go in,ginala nya ang mata sa paligid ng silid. He inhale deeply the room is filled with Jacob scent. He slowly walk to where the bed is and he saw Jacob lying down, mabilis syang lumapit dito,

"Babe.?” mahinang tawag nya. His tears starting to fall. " Wake up! Wika pa nya sAbay akyat sa higaan at tumabi kay Jacob. Isinobsob nya ang mukha sa leeg nito. Smelling Jacob scent give him peace. Then he heard Jacob  chuckle.

"Mag tira ka oy! Na uubos mo na ang amoy ko." Mahina pero masayang wika nito.

Napabaliswa naman ng bangun si Zander. He deeply sigh and he hug Jacob again.

" Akala ko, akala ko--- ” Di matuloy tuloy ni Zander ang sasabihin dahil naiiyak na naman ito.

"Im fine babe, a small scratches. I still van preform well in bed if you like.” Pabiro pang wika nito.

" Tumigil ka nga,naka higa ka na nga lahat jan, kamanyAkan pa din ang nasa isip mo. Inis na wika naman ni Zander sabay lipat sa gilid ng kama.

Jacob smirked while his eyes look at Zander pants.

"Yeah sure, ako na ang manyak.” Wika nito sabay nguso sa harapan ni Zander.

Mabilis naman na tinakpan ni Zander ng unan ang nka umbok nyAng pagka lalaki. At namula sa hiya.

" Tell me what happened,Akala ko--.” Zander stop, ayaw nya na mag isip ng malala na maaring nang yari ka Jacob.

"I was about to cross the road to buy those tamarine paste that you like, and i didnt notice the car is coming,buti na lang naka iwas ako,but still got this." Wika nito sabay pakita ng mga galos. "The car bump on the light post.” Pag patuloy nito.

" But the paramedics said.”

"Sorry about that. Ill kick Demon ass later for you for making you worried.” Nakangiting sambit ni Jacob sabay yakap kay Zander.

" I meet your dad on the way here.” Maya maya pang wika nya

Jacob smile. "Sorry kung hindi ko sila nababanggit sayo.” Wika naman nito sAbay abot sa kamay ni Zander at hinila ito. " Akala ko ba na mimiss mo ang amoy ko.” Wika pa nito sabax ngiti.

"Not me! This.” Wika ni Zander sabay turo sa sinapupunan.

Jacob hug Zander. " Im so happy babe. Thank you for coming into my life.” Then he pause. "Im going to sell the bar.” Wika nito.

" What? Why?” Takang tanung naman ni Zander.

"Im going to accept my father's offer.”

Napatungin naman na naguguluhan si Zander dito.

" He want's me to manage this hospital, but i refuse. I choose to live on my own, but now that we are here,and we're having a baby, i need to be serious for our future.” Wika nito.

"Manage, you? This hospital? Di makapaniwalang wika ni Zander.

Jacob laugh. Umupo ito ng tuwid.

"Hi, Im Doctor Jacob Kale.” Pag papakilala nito.

" Your kidding me right?” Natatawang wika ni Zander, there is no way Jacob is serious.

"Actually he's not.” Someone speak in their back. Sabay naman silang napatingin doon.

"Jacob is a Neurologist, Di nga lang halata.”Wika naman ng ama ni Jacob na naka pasok na pala sa kwarto.

" Seriously?” Di pa din maka paniwala si Zander.

Tumango lang ang mga ito sabay ngumoso sa cabinet ang lalaki. Zander stand at tinungo nya iyon, and his mouth open. Jacob certificate and diploma is their.

He smile towards Jacob while shaking his head. "Sobrang di nga halata, mas pasado syang gangster kisa sa doctor.” Wika nya sa ama ni Jacob sabay tawa.
