Next week
The week flew by, and I spent the weekend studying for a history quiz at the library with Noah and Josiah. Nate joined us on Saturday evening for a drive. Sam was on vacation with her family for two weeks, and Nate was touring New York University this week.
"Ready for your quiz, Alex?" Charlie asked.
"Yes, I just want to get it over with," I rolled my eyes.
"How are rehearsals going?"
"It's progressing; we finished scene one on Friday and will work on scene two in our next meeting," I explained.
"Would acting be part of your career choices?"
"Who knows?" I shrugged. "That's if I'm lucky enough to get into college."
"Have faith, Alex."
We left our dorm and caught up with Noah in the cafeteria. "Morning, AJ," he smiled.
