9 That was weird

Alexs' POV

I stare at the open page of the book. The mountains, the river we jumped in, it looks exactly like it did in my dream. Shaking my head I close the book and put it on my desk.

I replay everything over in my head while I'm stripping my bed. What the hell happened. What kind of dream was that. First the little boy who says he was a dragon. Yeah ok. Then those rino looking things. Then the sexy male specimen I had to save. Yeah I'm a hero even if it was only a dream.

I think I need my head checked. I grab my necklace and ask Mum what is going on. I look at the rings on my fingers and feel them tingle. This is all too weird. I start fiddling with the larger ring and I remember mums letter about finding the the boy. Who is this Boy? Was it the boy in my dream? Not the dragon boy, his hand would be too small. The good looking man i had to save. I didn't even see his face how am I ment to find him.

When I finish my bed I realise I dont have my charm bracelet on. Maybe it fell off while I slept but I didn't see it or hear it hit the floor. I check under my bed I check the wet sheets to make sure it hasn't gotten caught somehow. Nope, nothing.

Then it hits me. I gave it to Dominic but that wasn't real. Was it? No it couldn't be. That was a dream, a fantasy. I read too many books. It will turn up, it has to.

Brad hasn't come banging on my door yet so that means either he isn't home or he passed out. I hope he isn't home. I take a quick shower and wash my hair it smells a bit weird. I use my vanilla and honey scented shampoo and conditioner making sure I really rub it in. I jump out dry myself and my hair i decide to leave it out to dry, I dont have time to do anything else I need to get to school.

School is just like any other day. I go to class do my work. I don't find the mysterious male. And I look at everyone, I get a few unimpressed looks but I just quickly look away and walk faster. Maybe he doesnt go to my school after all.

School finishes and I head to the library for work. I find my corner to finish my homework. Once done I lock my bag away in the office to go find Mrs Sanders to ask about the book.

I find her in the fantasy section of course. She is sitting on the sofa with her eyes closed, it looks like she is asleep. I approach her quietly so I don't startle her.

"Hello dear, I have been waiting for you. I'm sure you have a lot of questions?"

"How did you know it was me? Your eyes are still closed? I didnt even make and noise." I say looking at her trying to figure out what she might know

"I know a lot of things my dear. Where would you like to start? Do you have the book with you?"

She says as she opens her eyes. I swear I see her eyes go from blue to a golden colour but as soon as I blink they are blue again.

I open my mouth to ask about her eyes but close it just as quickly and nod a yes. I turn and head to the office to grab the book. The rings are tingling on my fingers again as I pick the book up. I have to ask her about that. I head back off to find the answers im looking for.
