The tactical headquarters" main room was packed with members of the Children of Light and representatives from each of the factions. Raven was there to speak for Avalanche, and he looked uncomfortable in the indigo tunic and white shirt which made up the uniform of the Children. Avalanche"s symbol—the dagger with the spiked hilt, nestled inside a shield, stood out in bright silver stitches emblazoned across his chest. He looked smart and important, but he felt horribly out of place in the formal clothing.
Chaos had been called to represent Nightfall, and he too wore the indigo tunic and white shirt but with Nightfall"s dagger stitched on the front. Unlike his father, Chaos adored the authority the uniform gave him, and he puffed his chest out with pride whenever he was allowed to wear it.
