Chaos and Icarus wandered through the Elaki forests in Karinam, a weaving line of jungle which snaked through the centre of the unallied lands. With Dana commanding Nightfall now, it left Chaos with more free time. When he wasn"t training his siblings, he would scout the outlying regions with Icarus, who was rapidly becoming a close friend. They were scouting the Elaki area for dangers, making sure they checked the wood thoroughly. The area was generally flat and open and dangers could be seen from a distance, but the Elaki forests were the perfect cover for enemy attacks. Chaos and Icarus weaved in and out of vines and trunks which obscured the path. Icarus pushed a branch aside and held it aloft for Chaos to pass under. Chaos cast him a smile as he ducked under his arm.
