40 – Holiday Break

What happened that night became a regular nightmare. There was a thing about nightmares that made me hate it. They were so clear, setting up the scene as if it was really happening and I never, even once, felt like I was in control. Maybe that was the reason I could feel my body resisted, wanting to escape, because no matter how many times it looped, the nightmare brought me one result- Arawn Rhys and Inigo dying beside me. And every time they died in that dream, I would wake up, cutting to the scene when I ran toward them. In that nightmare, I could not reach them. I could not save them.
