The faint sound of crickets echoed around, the chilly wind blew against our skin. Arawn Rhys just handed me his leather jacket, insisting I needed it more than him, as he was used to the cold. The old cemetery was so dark, like it was a great void, that nobody would dare trespass the area. There were no light posts, the grass was so tall, hiding Torio’s house. Everything around the place screamed forgotten, the tombstones had nothing but withered weeds. From the rooftop of the house, I could somehow feel the loneliness.
