WARREN'S BODY HADN't ached like this since he had fought Matt ten years ago when Matt wanted to become a beta. At ninety, Warren was barking close to middle-aged for a wolf and every muscle screamed his age in bursts of painful reminders. Derek hadn't moved in an hour.
