3. Mel's POV

Mel’s POV

Jasmine and I had a few more drinks and chatted to some more people that I hadn’t seen in a long time, chatted to some new people and by the end of the night, I was ready to go. I hadn’t seen the gorgeous man from earlier again so he must have left with someone. I call a cab telling Jasmine to just crash at mine. “Did you have a good night?” Jasmine asks as we wait for the cab to arrive. “Yeah, it was good seeing everyone again, meeting new people. I kind of felt like people were either judging me or trying to be super nice like avoiding the elephant in the room.” I say as the taxi arrives, I open the door and slide all the way to the other side of the back seat and tell the taxi driver my address. “I’m sure that all in your head. It’s more that they knew both of you and can’t believe he would do that and they are just happy that you’re getting out again.” I side-eye glare at her as I put the seat belt on “Yeah maybe.” That was all I can think of to say. She rolled her eyes at me. I ignored her, resting my head on the back of the seat and closed my eyes. After a few minutes, Jasmine breaks the silence “Do you think you met anyone who could be a potential dom?” “No, I want to slowly work my way back in. I don’t want to go through what happened again. So I guess slow and steady.” I respond opening my eyes to see where we are. Two minutes from home and my bed is calling. “When do you want to go back to the club?” Jasmine asks was the taxi pulls up to my house. I thank and pay the taxi driving and get out of the car. “Maybe a couple of weeks. I want to go slow.” I answer as we walk up to the house and unlock the front door. “Ok let me know when you are and I’ll come with you.” And Jasmine gives me a hug and I hug her back. “Good night Jasmine” “Good night Mel”.  

I head to my room, take off my dress and put on a loose t-shirt and undies. Going into the bathroom to freshen up before hopping into bed. Finally laying down, I can’t help but think of the gorgeous man with the piercing blue eyes.
