"Wait! Did you guys noticed Leah?.. " Noel drifted his eyes on living room in search for his beloved.

"Bro, maybe she went upstairs.." Lito answered.

"Okay! If you'll excused me. Bro, just inform Edith if you're going to leave." Noel said as he goes through the staircase.

Noel was worried about Leah. He knew that she might be upset, he got to make it clear. He felt guilty when in fact he didn't nothing wrong.

Leah fell asleep with sulking heart. It was almost evening when footsteps in the hallway awakened her.

"Noel? " She lifted her head with quivering eyes.

Voices from a distance could be heard from Leah's room.

"Your room had changed a lot!"

While Noel was engrossed thinking, he didn't saw Beatriz was coming from his behind.

"You shouldn't be here! Why did you follow me?!" Noel said in indignant way.

Beatriz slowly rambled towards his room. Looked upside down, from ceiling to the floor. Then, she sat on the mattress staring on Noel in a vehement, like an hungry feline roaring and soothing for something.

"Beatriz, stop! This isn't good!" Noel's firm grasped on arms lifted her up.

On the other hand, Leah walked on the hallway searching for those distant audible conversation.

"How dare you! You knew it even before, didn't you?!" Beatriz stood up and locked the door.

"About what?!"

In the hallway, flashing only with the moonlight Leah walked thoroughly with her ears widely opened. As the voices become distinctive the fast her heart beats. Afterwards, she'd finally found the spot. Sticked her left ear to hear them clearer, the convo beyond the door.

"When we were in college, you seem so interested in me.. I saw it every time you're with me, I felt like in haven, secured and loved.. " Beatriz was weeping as she held the hands of Noel. "I love you, Noel... Since then.."

Tears flowed in Leah's eyes. Underneath her screamed aloud in the bottomless of despair. Her heart was trampled million times when she heard those words..

"Beatriz, you have been always here in my memories, thoughts and heart... I do love you ......."

In whimpering agony of Leah pushed her to opened the door.

"..... as a friend. Even before, you are always been a friend to me, I'm sorry if my actions makes you misinterpreted all of it."

Both Noel and Beatriz looked upon the door as if someone was opening it. Noel held the doorknob and noticed something strange, suddenly his heart was like pounding in anguish for no reason. When he opened the door he saw his best friend Lito and Carmela standing on the doorway dumbfoundedly.

"Is Leah here?!" Carmela initiated to asked.

"Bro, we literally saw her here a while ago in your front door! As we were going upstairs I saw her opened this door, crying in tears!" Lito was in confusion.
