Daciana screamed with all her might, the weight upon her was so strong that all she saw were more werewolves running towards her accompanied with the walking steps of the strange man she asked for help. With great surrender and a failing breath, Daciana felt her eyes closing gradually and the last thing she felt was the sharp claws of the wolves tearing the last piece of her gown.
Dacania laid still, she could hear familiar voices around her but she couldn't assert where she was. The whole place was so dark to the point that she felt her eyesight was already draining away. She whined in pain, the agony she felt pounded her head so wild that she knew that her heart was bleeding forth due to her anxiety. Slowly, she began to open her eyes, the ray of early morning sunshine made it hard for her to see clearly and she narrowed her eyes wondering where she was and why her sight was so blurry that she could hardly see.
"Daciana!" A familiar voice called out to her. Daciana tried to turn to the direction the voice emitted from but she couldn't because of the great pain that made her so miserable. Immediately, the face of her sister Cira glued next to her, her eyes filled with worry as she stared at her younger sister with nothing but concern written all over her.
"Are you alright?" Cira asked, her eyes not leaving Daciana who still cannot understand how she got herself on her bed and she wondered what could happen to her because the only thing she could remember is her strength fading away and the growls of the werewolves that were ready to mate with her.
Immediately these all dawn on her, Daciana quickly sat up, placed her hand on her private region and looked at her sister with widened eyes.
Cira quickly read Daciana's mind, "You were never mated last night" she let out to get sister who looked so shocked, her eyes not leaving Cira as words refused to proceed out of her mouth.
The door of the room opened, their mother, Anisha walked in with a tray of food. She looked at her younger daughter with surprise that she is awake, worry clearly written on her face as the news about her daughter is going around the clan.
"It's good to see you awake Daciana '' Anisha said with a hard smile. Daciana could read through her mother's expression that something is wrong somewhere and that smile of her mother isn't genuine. She turned her gaze to Cira who sat next to her, her eyes filled with the same expression her mother has.
"Why are you two looking like that?" She asked amidst the pain. At once, Daciana whines in pain, her eyes closed as she preser both hands on the sides of her head, her heart beating faster.
Anisha walked closer to her daughter, she placed the tray filled with food and a glass of water on a table which rested on the right side of Daciana's bed. She helped lay Daciana on the bed, her eyes trying to fight the pain that clung to her daughter.
Daciana looked at her mother, it was obvious that her mother was trying to fight the pains that held her but her mother's look was scaring her a bit as she couldn't understand what was going on anymore.
"Mother, can you tell me what's going on?" Daciana inquired not giving up as she stared at the ortoped face of her mother, her mind wanting nothing else but answers.
Anisha shook her head and placed her hand on her daughter, "You have to eat, take down medicines and rest. Right now isn't the time for you to ask questions but to follow orders if you want to get healed fast" she said trying to put in that authoritative tone in her words but the pain in her heart failed her.
Daciana glanced at her sister and back to her mother, "No mother" she replied stubbornly, "I won't just lay down here, eat food and rest when it is clear that something is wrong somewhere and you are trying to fight pains that are obviously eating you up. Do not leave me in the dark but spill everything out to me, I need to know what is wrong mother, do tell me" she persisted, her heart beating faster as she wondered what news would have made her mother look this way.
"Daciana" Cira called out, "You are trying to force your mother to tell you that nothing won't work, we need you to get well first before answering any of your questions, you have no other choice but to comply with it" she noted strongly.
Daciana stared at Cira wondering when she started talking at the exact same time their mother speaks to them. She knows that they are hiding something important from her but she won't relent but make sure that they tell her what is going on.
"Mother" she muttered with sharp green eyes. "It's best you both tell me what is going on because I won't eat neither will I take my medication if no one tries to calm my nerves by giving me a hint on what is going on!" She yelled, a sharp.pain passed through her head and Daciana whined in pain, her eyes closed as she tried to hold back the pain.
"I said that you don't have to say a word Daciana, you are hurting yourself!" Anisha scolded her daughter who turned her face away from her. Filled with guilt because she knows that Daciana has to be aware of what is going on and the trouble that has stirred against her because she is the mother. Right now, she doesn't want to add more burden to her daughter's heart but with Daciana's stubbornness, she will let her know about the new step life has decided to take on her.
"Alright, I will let you know what you want to know" Anisha let out to the surprise of Cira who stared at her giving her a sign not to tell Daciana yet due to her present state but Anisha sees that it is best she lets her daughter know about this.
"She has to know Cira" Anisha said to her older daughter who looked sad to hear such from her mother.
Daciana looked up at her mother with nothing else but curiosity which rested firmly on her face.
