Chapter 33 - Teasing the prince
----Kayden POV---- “Why are we in the library Ryder?” I asked him as I let myself dump down on one of the couches. I had been awake for a month now, after being unconscious for a week. The silver had done quite the number on me, and I still hadn’t healed. Which meant my left thigh was still covered in bandages and hurt like hell all the time. Walking was the worst, then standing and I refused to use a crutch. I didn’t want to look weaker than I already was. Leigh stayed around though, much to my surprise. She was spending most of her time in my Pack house, talking with Deryn, who was teaching her about Pack life and rules and about the supernatural world in general.
