PROLOGUE "You can't stay here anymore!" Gerald said firmly "Why is that?" Maya asked "Isn't it clear to you? You are here because I needed you, I used you, and Now, you are useless to me!" Hearing those words was like a billion arrows struck her heart, but Maya did not flinch. She knew this time would come, But she took the risk. She bet her heart, and now she lost! "I gave you everything, my soul, my heart; what else do you want just to let me stay?" she said, keeping her voice from shaking. "I never asked you to do what you did," Gerald answered, looking outside the window. "But you let me and make me believe we have something," Maya said in a weak voice. Outside, where anyone could only hear the sounds of crickets and chirping night birds as the rain fell, seemed to sympathize with the lonely souls. "I never promised you anything! You believed, and you fell into my trap!" Gerald said, his voice never showed any inch of compassion. -" Don't worry. You will receive the amount I promised you from the start as compensation. Is that why you came here anyway? I'll transfer the money early tomorrow morning," Gerald continued. From where she was sitting, Maya got up; with a heavy heart, she slowly walked into the closet and packed. She grabbed all the clothes that belonged to her as she arrived at the mansion; she didn't plan to bring all the clothes Gerald had bought her. Gerald's voice got her attention as she approached the door. "You can choose the car you want. Take it as a bonus." He said "You can keep it, and I don't need anything from you anymore; I will accept what I worked for, Forget about me from now on," Maya said in a shaking voice; if she stayed at that place, she would cry any minute, so she grabbed the knob and opened the door without looking back so he didn't see Gerald's clenched fist. For the last time, she looked at the place that had been her home for over three years. There are good and bad memories that she will bring as she leaves, but he will leave behind all the pain that her love for Gerald caused her. Two months later She nervously looked at the stick showing two lines, which was far from what she expected. "I'm pregnant!" She said to herself and instantly caressed her tummy. Tears flowed freely. Alas, something good is happening to her. She never expected this, but it feels so right.
