(Sabrina's P.O.V.) "Ahem" pulled Sabrina from painful memories as the Greek Adonis came over to her. She blushed realising she had been standing there staring off into space. Smiling at the handsome guy, Sabrina asked,"Can I help you?". Holding three books up in his hands he said," I'm ready to check out". Setting the books she had in her hands down, she hurried over to the register. She smiled and prayed that she didn't say anything weird. "Did you find everything okay?" Sabrina said as she took and scanned his books. When she looked up at him, she found him leaning on the counter looking her over with that gorgeous smile on his face, "I think I found everything I was looking for and I found a wonderful surprise too". He winked at Sabrina. Que internal girl scream. Sabrina's heart skipped a beat. Her face began to heat up and for the first time since Darren she found herself interested. "$23.74 is your total.", Sabrina said a little breathy. This made the handsome Adonis smile wider. Her face became very hot. He handed her $30. Sabrina gave him his change and receipt. Placing his books in a bag and handing them to him she said,"Thanks for letting me see you". Kicking herself she corrected,"I mean thanks for coming." She blushed even harder. Taking the bag from Sabrina, he looked at his receipt. Her name was printed on it. "Thanks Sabrina. My name's Gabriel.", he said with that charming smile. "Are you busy tonight?",Gabriel asked. Sabrina just stared at Gabriel. She'd never been asked out before and she felt a strange pull to this greek god of a man. She didn't know what to say. "W..what?", She stuttered out after what felt like forever. Gabriel look at her with those beautiful green eyes that were the same color as the leaves that were just budding on the trees outside. "Um, I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me tonight?", he said looking nervous. He was asking her out?! Sabrina looked around. Maybe he's joking. She asked,"Why? I mean why would you wanna go out with me?" Gabriel just smiled and said,"I'm interested in getting to know you. If your busy, it doesn't have to be tonight". Sabrina laughed,"I'm not busy tonight". She said it too quickly and chided herself for making it sound like she had no life. Gabriel's smile went on full wattage. "What time do you get off work?", he asked. Sabrina looked at the clock. She usually got off work at 5pm. "I get off work in two hours.", she said while pinching herself under the counter to make sure this was really happening. Gabriel took a pen off the counter in front of them and wrote his number down on the back of his receipt. He slid it toward Sabrina. "I'll see you in two hours then.", Gabriel said as he moved towards the door. Nodding her head yes, she waved Gabriel goodbye. As soon as he was out the door, Sabrina sank to the floor trying to make sense of what just happened.
