Dinner with the Lewis Family

(Gabriel's P.O.V.)

Driving to his house, Gabriel was excited for his parents to meet Sabrina. When he told them Sabrina would have dinner with them tonight, his mother went full commander about dishes and place settings. Sasha was always one to make a good first impression. His father had informed his that he was still investigating the break in but they didn't have any new leads. Gabriel had to be careful which also meant he had to keep an eye on Sabrina too. The more time they spent together, the more he worried someone might try to get to him through Sabrina. She looked amazing tonight as well.

"We will keep her safe. You during the day and me at night.", Apollo assured Gabriel. As they turned onto the drive that lead to his house, Gabriel heard Sabrina gasp.

"This is your house? It's huge", Sabrina asked shocked as she saw a four story mansion in front of them. It was beautiful with clean lines and windows that showed a warm glow from within. She started to fidget in her seat.

"This is my parent's house but my whole family lives here. You don't have to be nervous. You just have to be yourself. They'll love you.", Gabriel said attempting to calm her nerves. He couldn't tell her it was a pack house full of werewolves. He hated lying to her but kept telling himself it was temporary. Soon, he would tell her everything. Sabrina took a couple deep breaths. Gabriel came around to her side of the truck and opened the door for her. He took her hand and kissed it looking into her eyes. Sabrina blushed and looked down. Gabriel's body buzzed with the spark between them. He wanted to take her away and make her moan his name as he tasted her. That would have to wait though. Keeping hold of her hand, Gabriel brought her inside the pack house.

"We're here.", Gabriel said announcing their arrival. His parents were in the living room to the left of the foyer. They came into the foyer.

"Hello and welcome to our home. I'm Sasha Lewis and this is my husband, Thomas Lewis.", Sasha said as she enveloped Sabrina in a big hug.

"Geez mom.", Gabriel said looking to his dad for help. Thomas laughed at his wife's enthusiasm and pulled her to his side.

"Hello I'm Thomas", He said as he held out his hand. Sabrina took his hand and shook it.

"It very nice to meet you both. T..Thank you for having me.", She stuttered out as her nerves got to her.

Gabriel's parents just smiled and guided them to the dinning room. In large room, there was a huge dinning table. It could have easily fit 15 people. There were only four place settings at the end of the table closest to the entry way.

"Please sit. I'm gonna go check on dinner.", Sasha said as she walked out of the room. Thomas sat at the end of the table. Sabrina next to him. Gabriel took the seat next to her. His parents had told the pack to be scarce during the dinner because Sabrina was human and it would make things easier. They had all listened to their alpha. Gabriel hadn't seen another pack member yet. They sat there talking, mostly about books, as Thomas was an avid reader. Sabrina became more animated and relaxed the longer they chatted.

"Miss me?", Sasha said to Thomas as she came back in the room.

"Always my love",Thomas responded.

"Dinner will be served shortly. What did I miss?", Sasha asked as she sat next to Thomas.

"We were talking about books. Sabrina here is very well read, my love.", Thomas answered his wife.

"Smart and beautiful. I'm sure she'll make a wonderful daughter in law.", Sasha said winking at Gabriel and Sabrina. Sabrina looked shocked by what his mother had said.

"Maybe one day.", Sabrina blushed as she spoke. Gabriel's heart jumped in his chest as she said those words. Was she thinking of the future when it came to them too?

"Mom, we are still getting to know each other. I don't wanna scare her off.", Gabriel winked at Sabrina as he spoke which made her blush harder and stare down at her plate.

"Sometimes you just know when it's right and go for it.", Thomas announced as he took Sasha's hand and kissed it. Gabriel's parents are mates and have loved each other since the moment they met. He hoped that kind of love for Sabrina and himself too.

"Was it live at first sight?", Sabrina asked.

"It was. From the first moment I saw her, my Sasha, I knew I was hers and she was mine.", Thomas said with loving filling his voice and eyes when he looked at his wife. Dinner was ushered in by two omegas and placed in front them. Sabrina seemed impressed by the meal set in front of her. It was cheese and broccoli stuffed chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans with bacon. They all ate and chatted more about Sabrina's job and life. His parents were curious about her. They finished eating and moved into the living room. Gabriel's mom and Sabrina were practically best friends. His mom was showing her his baby pictures. Sabrina seemed to be having fun.

"I have some business to discuss with my son real quick. If you'll excuse us ladies.", Thomas said motioning for Gabriel to follow him.

"Don't take too long my love.", Sasha responded only to go back to showing Sabrina Gabriel's baby pictures.

Thomas and Gabriel went up to his father's office. Once behind closed doors, Thomas motioned for Gabriel to sit.

"How long before you tell her?", Thomas referring to werewolves and mates. Gabriel considered this for a moment.

"I'm not sure. I wasn't kidding when I said I don't wanna scare her off. I'm not sure what to say or how to broach the subject.", Gabriel said honestly. He didn't know when or what to say about it.

"Whatever you do, make sure she understands that she is meant for you and you for her. She already cares for you.", Thomas said putting his hand on Gabriel's shoulder.

"I will. I just hope it doesn't freak her out. This is a lot to take in for anyone.", Gabriel sighed at the thought.

"Well whatever you do, we're behind you. Let's get back downstairs before your mother starts planning your wedding.", Thomas said with pity for his son.

As they made they're way to the living room, Thomas and Gabriel could hear Sabrina and Sasha chatting about the baby photos.

"Who's this?, Sabrina asked pointing to a photo of Gabriel's wolf Apollo. Sasha looked at Gabriel and Thomas.

"He's my dog Apollo.", Gabriel blurted out.

"Apollo was at my house last night. Does he run away often?", Sabrina asked Gabriel.

"Sometimes. He likes to get out and run around.", Gabriel said as he looked at his parents pleading with his eyes for help. Sasha turned the page on the photo book.

"Apollo is beautiful boy. He's sweet, caring and protective. He does have a habit of getting out.", Sasha said covering for her son.

"He makes friends too. A black dog with blue eyes.", Sabrina said as she laughed.

"That would be Gabriel's best friend, Toby's dog, Scotus. They're best friends too.", Thomas said looking at his son. Gabriel was gonna have to explain himself when he got home.

"It's getting late. I should take you home.", Gabriel said as he reached for Sabrina's hand to help her up. Sabrina turned to Gabriel's parents and said, "I've had such a wonderful time. Thank you for having me."

"The pleasure is ours. We'll have to do this again. It was such fun. Don't forget to call me so we can go out for coffee.", Sasha said as she hugged Sabrina.

Thomas pulled his wife away and hugged Sabrina himself.

"Be careful on your way home.",Thomas said as stepped back from Sabrina. Gabriel grabbed her hand and walked Sabrina out to his truck.

"Did you have fun? My parents really like you.", Gabriel said as he opened the door to his truck.

"I had a wonderful time. You're mom is really nice and so is your dad. You have great parents.", Sabrina said smiling up at him. Gabriel wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer kissing her in small, slow pecks. Sabrina pulled his face closer kissing him back. Gabriel licked her lips. She opened her mouth gasping. Gabriel's tongue searched her mouth. Groaning at her sweet taste, his hands moved over her body. Sabrina separated her mouth from Gabriel's. They both stood there breathing heavily.

"I suppose I should take you home now but I don't want to leave you.", Gabriel whispered. Sabrina sighed.

"I don't want to leave you either but I have work in the morning. I have the day after tomorrow off. Perhaps we could have that do over date?", Sabrina said as she got into Gabriel's truck. Gabriel got into his truck.

"Our do over date is on then.", he said with a grin starting his truck and headed towards Sabrina's house.
