Goddess Chosen: Sabrina and Gabriel

The Plan

(Gabriel's P.O.V.)

As Gabriel walked away from the divine scent of cherry blossoms, His phone began to ring. Pulling it from his pocket, he saw Toby's name on the screen. Answering,"Dude, I'm right down the street." Gabriel said looking back towards the bookstore.

Toby's annoyed voice sounded in his ear, "I've been standing here for twenty minutes man. What's taking so long? People are starting to stare".

"Found my mate.", Gabriel blurted out.

There was a pause of silence on the other end of the line.

"Hurry up and get here so you can tell me about her." Toby said sounding happy for his friend.

"I'm on my way.", Gabriel said as he hung up the phone.

Gabriel hurried to the coffee shop at the end of the street as quick as he could. Toby walked up to his friend and slapped him on the shoulder. Gabriel began immediately giving all the details about how and when Gabriel had met Sabrina.

"Is she a wolf?", Toby asked in a hushed tone, curious about the woman who the Goddess had chosen for his friend.

"No, Sabrina's human. We have a date in an hour and a half.", Gabriel said shocked as he looked at the time. Gabriel was nervous. He want to sweep Sabrina off her feet but, he had to keep his wolf in check while she was around. Her sent drove him and Apollo wild. Sabrina had seemed shy when he talked to her. He'd have to take great care to go at her speed. He didn't wanna rush anything and blow it.

"Do you know what your gonna do?", Toby asked looking at his friend worried. Gabriel knew he would do anything to have Sabrina by his side. He knew why Toby was worried. Gabriel couldn't tell Sabrina about himself and werewolves until she accepted him. It was something he would have to keep secret. He wanted to share his life with Sabrina. Gabriel knew that meant he would have to share that part of himself too. He just hoped that when he did, she would accept him, wolf and all.

"I am going to romance Sabrina until she falls in love with me. If all else fails, I'll tell her everything and hope she comes around. The Goddess chose her for a reason. I just have to put my faith in her.", Gabriel said knowing in his heart the truth of his words.

"Well good luck. I guess Rachel is gonna be sad you're mated. This also means I won't have to endure anymore parties.", Toby said with a grin. Gabriel had confusion written all over his face.

"What does Rachel have to do with anything?", he asked oblivious to what Toby was pointing out.

"Oh please man! She practically follows you around with hearts in her eyes.", Toby said with a laugh.

Pushing Toby's shoulder Gabriel laughed, "She's just a friend. Besides, I found my mate. Sabrina is the only one for me."

"Whipped already? You haven't even been on a date yet. Seems Sabrina already has you by your boys.", Toby said in a sarcastic tone.

The two of them laughed as they left the coffee shop. Gabriel was already planning how tonight was going to go in his head. He had the perfect plan. He just hope it went half as well in reality as it did in his head.
