Mother Knows Best.... Not!

(Sabrina's P.O.V.)
Inside her home, Sabrina dropped her bag on the table near the door.
"Where were you and who was that?", Joan demanded flinging her finger at the door meaning Gabriel.
"He's my date.", Sabrina said sighing. She suddenly felt exhausted.
"Your date? You went on a date with someone? So now you're whoring yourself around?!", Joan spewed out of her mouth like venom.
"No! I'm not whoring myself to anyone! I went on a date.", Sabrina said trying not to yell. It never helped to yell. It just made things worse.
"That's not what I saw out in that truck. You two were all over each other!", Joan yelled her voice get more shrill as her voice got louder.
"We went on a date. We kissed. End of story. I am old enough to date and kiss whoever I choose.", Sabrina told Joan. Sabrina turned to walk towards her room. Joan stood in her way.
"Don't talk to me like that. I am your mother and you will listen to me.", Joan yelled grabbing Sabrina's forearm. Joan squeezed her arm digging her nails in to Sabrina's skin.
"You are my mother and nothing will ever change that but, if you think you are going to bully out of a life I choose for myself, you are very mistaken.", Sabrina said in a threatening tone. Sabrina grabbed Joan's wrist and pulled her hand off her arm.
"I'm going to take a shower. Please don't bother me.", Sabrina said as she walked towards the bathroom leaving Joan standing there seething. Sabrina could hear her mother walk across the house towards her room and slam the door.
Closing and locking the bathroom door behind her, Sabrina took a few deep calming breaths to steady herself. Why was her mother always so difficult about everything? She was twenty years old already. While Sabrina hoped her mother would be supportive and loving, she didn't understand why Joan was so judgemental and controlling all the time. Seeing the scratches that bled on her arm, Sabrina removed her clothes and started the shower. She looked at herself in the mirror. She still had on her makeup from her date. Removing it, she look at her naked face. She shook off the anger she felt and climbed into the shower. While washing, she went over the whole day in her head. It started out just like any other day. Sabrina had cleaned the house and done laundry. She went to work. All normal. Then, she met Gabriel and normal got blow all to hell. He was considerate, sweet, funny, and great looking. Then there was the way he made her feel completely relaxed and safe. What happened when they touched was exhilarating and confusing. She had to admit it made her tingle all over. Sabrina remembered their kiss. It made her wet just thinking about it. When their lips touched, it made her body hot just thinking about it. She touched her lips and closed her eyes remembering the blissful feel of them. Her n*****s became hard pebbles. She felt a throbbing from between her legs. Opening her eyes, she turned the water as cold as she could stand it and rinsed herself. After rinsing off, she prepared herself for bed.
Sabrina walked out of the bathroom wearing a tank top and shorts for bed. The house was quiet. Joan must have gone to bed. Sabrina walked through the house to her back door. She opened it and stepped outside. Taking in a deep breath of fresh air, she looked up at the sky. The moon wasn't quite full but it was bright lighting up the sky and her yard. Sabrina's yard was surrounded by trees and roses. She had planted the roses. She loved the way they smelled when they bloomed. She sat down on her back steps appreciating the quiet. A slight breeze brushed against her. She loved coming out into her back yard at night. She could sit there enjoying the peace. Sabrina heard the rustling in the trees at the edge of her yard. She look over to find a huge blonde wolf looking at her with green eyes. It was double the size of any wolf she had seen before. She froze. The wolf slowly made his way towards her. Sabrina stood up from her step. She hadn't ever heard of wolves in Oklahoma. It must be a mix. Wolf and golden retriever maybe but that didn't explain its size or the fact that it looked just like a wolf. The wolf stopped moving and laid down on the grass. The wolf whined when she went to step up. She stopped moving and just stood there staring at the green eyes watching her.
"Hello. Are you lost?", Sabrina said to the wolf. The wolf started to crawl towards her. She wasn't sure what she should do. It seemed friendly but she didn't know if she should trust it. The wolf stopped at the bottom of the steps and rolled over on its back. She took a breath and stepped down. She sat on the steps and prayed it was friendly. The wolf rolled back over and crawled to her feet. He laid his head on her feet. She tentatively reach her hand down to touch him. The wolf lifted his head into her hand. He had such soft fur. She stroked his fur and they both let out a sigh as he closed his eyes at her touch. There was a slight tingling in her hand when Sabrina touched him.
"You seem like a friendly guy. I hope you consider me a friend. I hate to get eaten. I'm not little red riding hood, okay.", Sabrina blurted out, speaking her mind to the wolf while continuing to pet him. He lifted his head and licked her hand. She giggled at that. It tickled.
"Nice to meet you too. My name is Sabrina. You don't have a collar. You seem much too big to be someone's pet but you're pretty friendly so maybe someone has been taking care of you. I wonder if you got lost.", Sabrina said looking down at the wolf. Those green eyes looked back at her.
"You remind me of a friend. He has eyes just like yours. His name's Gabriel. He's sweet like you too.", Sabrina thought out loud. The wolf licked her face. Suddenly there was a rustling at the edge of the tree line. A black wolf a little smaller than the blonde one emerged.
"Is that your friend?", Sabrina asked tensing up at the sight of the other wolf. The blonde wolf licked her hand and ran through the trees with the black one.
"Goodnight to you too.", Sabrina said as she went inside to go to bed.
