Everything that had just transpired on the fifth floor was what I would have termed impossible just a few months ago when I was just another intelligent lady out in the human world. From this magnificent machine created by Ethan to the powers it possessed. But now, it was an everyday thing to me, and I was impressed, to say the least. It came with its own troubles, but nothing compared to the abuses and bullying I survived growing up.
One look at the core of the machine, and anyone would realize that a normal human without powers wouldn't be able to withstand it. They would most likely be melted or suffer instant death. One could feel the powers within it, hungry and threatening, so I understood why Ethan collapsed. I just hoped he was okay.
