Lila's point of view
We descended into a lab, different from the first one Ethan had taken me to when he was trying to convince me to join his cause. The descent to this lab was shorter. It was on the third floor, and the elevator buttons only indicated three floors. This meant not everyone was aware of Ethan's project or the existence of floors lower than the third.
I made sure Janette was properly taken care of in the lab before heading out. I had to search for the strange woman immediately. I wanted to do it alone. After all, I had succeeded in rescuing Janette singlehandedly. But I needed more information, and the only way to get it was from the captured men.
