Isaac was stuck and the beasts were fast approaching, when they saw him pause on a spot, as they were naturally oblivious to the sudden and peculiar dilemma he was thrusted into at the very moment, a cruel and determined glint flashed across their blood red eyes as their speed reached the limit, reaching a new level as they then slightly paused to accumulate strength in their limbs before they then pushed off the ground.
Isaac could only watch as the figures of the two ferocious beasts grew larger in his eyes, he felt panic rise in his body as it shivered involuntarily. His somehow futile attempts at releasing himself from the c***k in the ground grew more forceful and impatient as he spat out words in a helpless tone,
“Oh sh*t!...”
Surging winds blew against his face and body as the large bodies of the two beasts tore away at the air resistance, an eventual collision with him was unavoidable, that, Isaac knew.
At this point, Astral had obviously also grown a little unnerved by the seemingly inevitable tragedy that was about to happen,
“You have to think of something now Isaac, if you don’t think and do nothing, you’re definitely going to get squished and torn apart… and rather more savagely than you can imagine at that…”
It was the truth he said after all, even Harry whose physical body seemed to be growing with every kill and power up would be unfailingly torn apart, every part of his body to be destroyed.
Adam watched on as his dark eyes flashed with an even darker light, all signs of light seemed to faintly recede from his eyes as a mysterious black glow began to pulse and stir in his lowered and unmoving arms, he was already prepared in case of an emergency and although this looked the biggest emergency yet, he forcibly decided to wait just a little bit longer and not take any actions just yet, perhaps it was because of the trust he had in Isaac, or the innumerable amount of likewise almost sure and sure death situations he had witnessed Isaac ultimately breaking himself out and saving himself and sometimes even them or perhaps even because of some inexplicable reason, he had this notion, that Isaac would never fall… at least not now or at this point anyways, it’ll take more than any of these situations to put him down…
Unaware of the tremendous faith and hope he had garnered from a single over countless achievements he could no longer remember, Isaac’s scalp had already begun to turn slightly numb as he watched the approaching beasts with their claws outstretched, their large and intimidating figures growing bigger in his silver white pupils, he stood helplessly immobile on the spot as his head rapidly spun with countless thoughts and possible counter measures to the inevitable incoming attack.
The whole ongoing thing might although seem very drawn out and extended like it was going on in very slow motion, but such a relative perception was actually just a false image being played in the mind.
Right now from a distance of a few dozen meters, the whole distance from the point of the beasts swiping out their claw to where Isaac currently stood helplessly watching the sight before him enlarge, had shortened to a tiny distance of only a few feet left between the two, Isaac could already feel the disturbed winds from the claws tearing the air around them apart slapping him hard as his body began to sway,
“Isaac- “
Astral was just about to speak up again, probably thinking Isaac had become dazed by the situation and hence wanting him to snap out of it. But Isaac’s surprisingly resolute voice spoke up at this point, though one could hear the slight undertones of panic beneath it,
“This damn c***k in the ground…*sigh*, It’s all or nothing now…”
His eyes turned serious as he forcibly suppressed the panicky feeling he felt within, a mysterious white light flitted across his eyes, unknown to him.
At this point, the two large paws coming from both the left and right, as if with a tacit understanding, were just two feet away from him. He could already feel his skin and bones being squeezed slightly, causing him to feel uncomfortable.
But he disregarded the feeling as he took in a short but full breath and exhaled it almost as quickly, he looked forward as mist like white energy actually erupted from every single pore of his body, flowing all out in a much more unreserved manner than he ever had done. The white spiral in his body had almost completely disappeared as all that remained of it was just that single strand from the beginning, the first strand which now hung on persistently like the last few wisps of flames on a candle, firm and stubborn… of course, although it looked like he had broken down his whole foundation and thus utterly ruined it, the single white strand after pausing for a slight while began to once again spin and stir, clearly several times faster than when it had even first happened. Gathering energy once again, it showed that it was only a matter of very little time for the white spiral to return to its former state and height.
At this moment, Isaac tensed his muscles and abruptly stretched both his arms fully sideways before bringing them both swiftly to his front in an inwards arc as he clasped his palms together.
Hopeful resolve surged out of his eyes as the all the misty white energy around him surged towards him as they wrapped around him like a white cocoon, surrounding him completely in an enclosing capsuling manner. The two large paws finally smashed forward as they closed all the distance and smashed hard at Isaac.
BOOM!
The resulting winds exploding outwards fiercely due to the collision as even the surrounding dust and dirt were all swept up, obscuring the view of the outcome of the collision, but anyone who witnessed and heard the accompanying sounds of the collision would freeze as shock and fear would swiftly take over them.
Adam watched with a peculiar glint pervading the consuming darkness like black coloring of his eyes. He couldn’t be sure if anything had happened and had actually ultimately decided against making a move, thus making a deadly and decisive gamble on the young man sandwiched between the two paws, he realized that if he were to be honest about himself now, he felt a teensy bit of anxiety regardless as he watched the scalp numbing collision
