Direflame wolves, the beasts charging at them were all of the same specie and origin. Their furs were bright orange as sparks were seemingly generated from them from time to time, the eyes locked on to the trio were also of a bright orange color, resembling burning hot flames as they held nothing but bloodlust and hunger for the intruders of their territory. SHHIIING!! The sharp piercing sound of a silver longsword resonated across the mountain cave, which was the first floor of the five floors present in the mountain that contained a separate space from the rest of the world. Hiya held her sword in an elegant gripping style that showed no flaws or openings what so ever, her sword style to Isaac would always be a beautiful sight to watch yet unpredictable and dangerous, it wasn’t something to play around with. The sword was directed at a group of charging beasts as it had usually been directed for the past few days now, and as it glimmered with a little bit of light, Isaac could somewhat feel that it wanted to spill more of these beasts’ blood. Isaac felt it was a good thing that there still seemed to be no shortage of supply of its favorite meal Harry stared at the charging beasts as well with battle intent overflowing from his eyes, ever since he had gained his berserker class, he had always been eager for a battle whenever he saw one coming, even when it was proving to possibly be dangerous. It was possibly due to this reason that he grew so fast despite being the one lagging behind when they first stepped into the untainted zone. With every battle won, he felt a sense of fulfillment and pleasure when the curse energy poured into him, and although previously he was not able to make heads or tail on how to get stronger when they were in Sarang, it was like he transformed somewhat when he started tearing down the beasts in the tainted zone, like a warrior or a seasoned soldier was returning to the warfront and feeling right at home on the spot. The churning red energy surrounding his entire body was now obviously thicker and more visible compared to previously. As the flowing red wave of light pulsed rhythmically around his body, his aura climbed higher and higher as it grew stronger. From the start of the beasts’ charge, when Isaac and the other two took the first step forward, to the current time now, only two seconds had passed as the beasts had closed the distance between them to just about a dozen meters.  It was right at that moment that Isaac with an attention grabbing sword that was completely white, as if every part of it was casted from the same material, leaned forward slightly as he spoke, “Let’s do this quickly, I really want to feel how reaching the second tier would be after a long while of waiting…’ And with that he shot forward at considerable speed as he did what he had come to master just slightly, effective killing. To some people, to kill is basically to smash apart every single one of your opponents, leaving all of them as nothing but puddles of flesh and blood as you fight with an unstoppable momentum, an example of such people was the berserker standing beside him, Harry, who had used brute force to take down every single one of his opponent, that was how he perceived the essence of killing, fierce and directly crushing though it was probably due to the class that he held. But that was just the way it was seen to a single majority of people, to another group, killing was just killing, getting rid of your opponents and sending them down to the yellow springs, it was nothing more than that to them. While to another major group of people, killing, that is to kill someone or a group of people was undoubtedly a form of art, a unique form of art that was very much enjoyed. They enjoyed cutting down all opponents in a glorious shower display of blood, they sought to come up with different and effective ways in which they could send their opponents to their deaths while displaying unimaginable standards. And Isaac realized that he somewhat belonged to this category, the goal he had slowly developed in his mind during every battle was to draw every single ounce of blood that he could from his every opponent. He did this in a manner that he slowly refined further, he most especially enjoyed a group battle like this one because it was only when he went up against a large number of opponents that the circumstances allowed him to freely display it all as he immersed himself in the feeling. That feeling was one on the borderline between killing for necessity and killing with a twisted mind, the latter being something that Isaac didn’t intend to do. But now wasn’t the time to think much into it as a white sword that looked like flowing mist had already appeared in his hands, condensed from his now barely substantial amount of will power swirling as a spiral within him. Harry and Hiya had already charged forth and he also did the same now as he sprinted the short distance into the group of beasts. The way the three of them fought together was approaching the level of mutual understanding as they spread evenly among the beasts but made sure to keep fairly  close to each other, they kept a distance that was not too close to each other and hence hinder their attacks from properly landing, and also not too far so they could watch each other in hindsight and help out or protect their backs if something went wrong. Harry swung his hammer around in a haphazard manner as his red aura coated weapon covered a considerably wide distance with its length, causing the air to tremble wherever it passed due to its size, as he fought, the red layer of energy on him seemingly almost morphed his whole being into a different type of fierceness. Hiya as usual was swift and clean with her movements as she moved elegantly and efficiently through the battle space, she was one of the aforementioned that fought solely to end their opponent and nothing else. She moved through the uncoordinated beasts quickly with every flash of light, that was her sword moving, drawing blood and causing wounds. A howl containing intense pain and resentment rang out as a Direflame wolf sank to the ground while staring vehemently at Hiya who stood in front of it, a sword’s blade gleamed as blood seeped out to cover it from where the sword pierced the wolf’s head. The sword’s hilt in Hiya’s hand was pulled back as the first beast out of the twenty in the first floor fell. Naturally, a wolf’s head was not somewhere that could be easily pierced as it was a general characteristics of all wolves to all have hard heads, vulnerable places in a wolf’s body mostly amounted to only it’s underbelly and neckline and perhaps other few select places. But none of those places was it’s head, more specifically it’s forehead, Hiya being able to do that showed her considerable strength that she almost always used alone to do battle. But none of the others witnessed her current feat as Isaac kept moving quickly quickly to evade beasts attacks while swinging his sword as Harry also kept smashing his hammer left and right while Adam was unable to come in. Hiya briefly looked at the other two, her thoughts unknown as she then continued her battle without saying anything. A pike flew over from a distance as it pierced into the body of the of a Direflame wolf who about to attack Hiya, causing the beasts to howl in pain before it was quickly silenced by her. The one who threw the pike from a distance was naturally Isaac who was currently swinging his white sword, drawing blood, as he occasionally condensed and threw out a pike at an unsuspecting beast. He had actually thought the beast would be able to harm her as she was probably aware of it, but somehow he had still instinctively thrown when he raised his head to the sight. Nothing more was said as the battle continued quickly, slightly resembling that of a one sided m******e. Not very long was taken as the beasts, numbering about twenty in total were all taken care, in other words they had all been killed, and that too without breaking much of a sweat. This was evident from the relaxed expressions on the trio faces as they calmly stood. Harry looked around as his gaze landed on a spot directly opposite from the place where they entered from, it was a black door that gave off peculiar vibes, Harry didn’t really need to think much to guess that the door was something different and useful, “What now guys, do we go over there and see what’s on the other side?”, Harry asked as he looked at the others. Isaac’s gaze also stopped on the door, he didn’t know much about this place but it was obvious that that was the way leading to the next floor which they needed to clear, but before he could say anything at all, a screen of light, blood red in color, weaved into existence in front of the trio, bringing new words to say as they all read through it.
