A minor encounter.

1980 Words
Adam and the others watched as a colorless ripple moved seamlessly through the air as it all poured into Isaac, all entering into through his chest. Isaac with his inner sight could see the white spiral in its mysterious space tremble slightly as it spun and swirled quickly gathering all the newly taken in willpower while simultaneously also recovering the exhausted energy from earlier. The whole process painted a marvelous and mysterious scene, mesmerizing enough to force a person to be unable to take their visual senses off it. The process took way lesser than the first time it occurred, probably because his body and system and already accustomed itself to such an influx of energy, so in a very short three seconds, the last strand of a colorless ripple of energy seeped into Isaac through his chest, marking the end of his absorption. With his eyes still closed, Isaac estimated the amount of willpower within him as he measured the swirling white mysterious spiral. With a rough guess made and following a single statement in his mind, a blueish screen of light appeared in his mind this time around with his eyes closed, it was his status screen, Status Name: Isaac Alexus (Jaden Miguel) Class: Order of will Rank: Tier one (106.67 / 200)) Strength: 66 Speed: 69 Flexibility: 67 Constitution: 68 Special attributes: --Racial: -   Flame manipulation --Class: -   Will manipulation (Level 1) *Manifestation --Auxiliary: -   Inner sight   After a quick examination, Isaac inwardly nodded his head when he saw his growth. He was pretty strong now, Astral: For the level of a weakling you mean… The obvious meaning in Astral ’s words made both anger and embarrassment intertwine within Isaac as he realized the truth behind the said words. Reluctantly keeping his mouth shut was the best thing he could do if he intended to keep his sanity, so he barely managed to ignore those words as he opened his eyes. On seeing him finally open his eyes, Adam nodded faintly with a lazy expression as he addressed the trio before him, “Alright you three, though I should say it now that there wasn’t much teamwork or cooperation at all that I could see between the three of you earlier. I should really make it clear for you guys to pay attention to your surroundings to avoid an issue like what happened to you…” While he spoke to the end of his words, he cast a teasing glance to Isaac who could only smile awkwardly as he felt his face burn when the moment his leg suddenly got stuck in between the unexpected c***k on the ground came back to his mind. Adam made no further comment on it as he continued his words, “And also try to lend a hand when needed. I don’t I should be telling you this though, you should know that at your current strength and tier, there’s not much you can do by yourself that can be done much better or at least in the same manner like when you do it together… now that’s all I should say, let’s end this conversation now and head on, I’m beginning to feel like an old sensei of sorts…” Amused expressions flickered through the eyes of the trio listening to Adam as they heard his words, they made no comments nor said anything else as they all prepared to move out under the gentle and soft glow of the four jade white moons up in the sky. It was at that moment that everyone besides Adam had their ears twitch slightly as they looked over to a certain direction in the distance, Adam also lazily looked as he mumbled, “Looks like they’re coming for a greeting…” Since he constantly had a barrier of sorts around their group and he was much stronger at a higher tier with a stronger perception, he had already felt a slight disturbance approaching as an aura very different from the beasts of the tainted zone but still very much familiar to his senses was detected, humans… Since the untainted zone was naturally a place bordering on the tainted zone as it remained a subtle threat to humanity, there were always a number of people that stepped into its range whether being under orders or by one’s personal will. These people all usually have one goal in mind when they chose to come here, to kill and eradicate the threatening nuisances that the creatures of the tainted zones had always been. So although the vast size of the tainted zones allows a free range of directions to choose from and travel through to accomplish said goal, which would in turn reduce contact with another person or group traversing the tainted zone, there would always be a number of encounters with said people or group. The reason why their journey had been devoid of any encounters was due to the fact the vastness of the zone and also the fact that this current location on the map and the surrounding distance starting from the very beginning of the tainted zone to a considerable distance inwards had been successfully wiped clean of most tainted beasts, it was a considerable achievement won by the continuous efforts of the fighters from the beginning of the whole eradication effort, and since there were not many tainted beasts to take on here, almost all fighters would instead choose to skim through these parts and instead head deeper into the zone where there would be beasts at every place to take on. Only situations like thus like in which Adam had three untrained fighters to initiate into the long standing war between the two zones would have fighters walk around these parts hunting for the sparse number of beasts to take on… “They’re not so small though…” But the numbers which Adam had sensed had slightly peaked his interest, he could sense about a dozen people in the group approaching them, and although it could be a clan training new recruits on a large scale like how is usually done, Adam had a slight hunch it wasn’t quite so… While Adam was mumbling to himself, the group of four could finally a flickering light in the distance very quickly approaching, the light got nearer to them and the four people could finally see the faintly glowing faces under a strange looking constantly shapeshifting light source. Isaac was slightly taken aback as he noticed the surprising number of people, he counted with his eyes as he noted a dozen of them in all. Although they were not too large a group, it had after all been a slight while since Isaac had seen any person other than the people of his group of four, much less this many people… The group of people strode forth towards them while their eyes were fixed on their persons, evidently showing that they were the ones these people intended to meet with. Very quickly, the group finally came to a stop at a reasonably close distance, but surprisingly they seemed to take little note of the four people as only a few of them swept a cursory glance at them after which they all turned their gazes to looked about the immediate surroundings of the four, their gazes coming to settle on the four corpses of the recently slayed green skinned lions. When they were able to look closely at the dead beasts, the eyes of a few of the people within the group flickered with relief while the rest looked on with little changes to their expressions. They seemed completely relaxed, possibly due to the fact that although they were in the lands of the tainted zone at the moment, they had no reason to fear this particular area of the tainted zone, nothing could threaten them here, not even the group a distance from them with only a measly few number of people present. A male figure clothed in a white fighter gear covered in a faint bluish hue finally spoke up, he held a trace of relief in his eyes as he gazed upon the surroundings, his eyes zooming onto the large sized corpses strewn around that were of the once ferocious green skinned lions. “This turned out to be a big surprise… who would have expected that when we were just wondering how not to go much too deeper into the tainted zone and still get the very few remaining low tier beasts we needed, we would then suddenly stumble upon a place like this, how lucky of us!” Another person spoke, he was decked in a similar looking fighter gear, save for the fact that the color of his gear was of a proper blue color, “Hm. That’s true. We’re indeed lucky, with this we don’t need to bother about going deeper and can just barely complete the quota as things are, no need for some more stress and every one’s happy…” He seemed to be the leader of the group as the others all nodded slightly on hearing his words, he also stood at the forefront of the group at his position in the middle of the group. Adam  swept a calm and casual glance at the dozen people standing right in front of them yet treating them like they were nothing but air, the disregard they held for the four of them did nothing to change the expression in his eyes as his emotions remained unperturbed and he swept a discerning glance at the chest of the twelve people in his front, it was slightly easy to take note of the similarity in their gears, but what was more easy to notice for him was the faintly glowing symbol on the chests of all of them that looked exactly the same. His eyes flickered with a strange light as he realized his earlier guess was right, These dozen people were members of a clan, and a notable one at that. They were from the frost reaper clan, all twelve of them. “Frost reaper uh…” While Adam looked on with a calm and undisturbed gaze at the intruding newcomers, Harry on the other hand couldn’t maintain such calmness as he was the first to speak up from their side, “Hey you, What the hell! Are you blind or something?” From their seemingly private conversation that they took no effort to disallow them from hearing, Harry after being confused for a while could finally make out what they were saying… Apparently these arrogant newcomers intended to right in their face, take the corpses of the four green skinned lions they had taken down and then leave with it like it was nobody’s business. Although they had no use to take the corpses of these beasts due to Adam ’s earlier words, what was currently going on was beyond absurd and insanely annoying to hear them discuss something like that when those who had obviously killed the beasts stood right in front of them. The man in light blue fighter gear swept a lazy glance at Harry, acting like he was only just seeing the group as he opened his mouth to speak, “The four of you, I guess I should address the fact that we’ll be taking the issue of these beasts off your hands now, thank you very much for putting efforts into taking care of them, there’s no more need for that now…”
