Harry and Isaac had chosen to press on with the advantage they had gotten as they seemed to be succeeding with it. But right as Harry was about to follow up on Isaac’s s***h at an exposed weak point of the wolf, a sinister howl rang into his ears as they seeped into his consciousness like a vengeful snake. This was a howl from the wolf that had finally felt pushed to a corner as it unleashed another skill of its own. Poor Harry had been already been proven to not fare well against such attacks, so he was stunned immediately as he froze in his movements in midair. The wolf took the chance again as quickly as it could as it swatted Harry away with the same force as the claw swipe from earlier, after which the wolf turned its gaze to Isaac as it moved forward raising a claw to smash the black and gold haired male fighter to death. It was right at this time when he swung his sword head on to meet the claw that he saw a silhouette appear abruptly above the wolf, with the wolf being unaware of the figure. And by the time it sensed something, it was already too late as a flash of silver was reflected in Isaac’s eyes. A head was separated from its body as it flew up into the air… The large head covered in black fur spun in the air suspended there for a while before then dropping back down spilling copious amounts of blood all over the place along with the blood splashed from the headless body. Isaac himself felt the blood splash down on him, dying his sleek black fighter gear a bloody shade. As the exposed parts of his body came into contact with the blood, they felt very cold to the touch, very much unlike the blood expected of a beast with fur covering its body. He stared somewhat blankly at Hiya who was in a crouching position as she landed on the ground beside the beheaded corpse of the wolf king, the mountain king of this mountain. She was the figure in the air just a moment that had landed the attack that sliced the head of the wolf king off its body. Isaac could only stare at her blankly as he froze in a somewhat awkward pose where he was about swinging his sword once again. it was until after a while that he finally moved again as he thought softly to himself, ‘Damn it… she stole my scene’ “…” Unaware of the words being said about her, Hiya stood up from her crouching position as she turned her head to the side to look at the headless wolf king’s corpse. Blood still continued to flow unendingly as it lay on its side. She looked at Isaac who was also staring at her as he regarded the blood all over his body with peculiar expression. Her eyes rippled slightly as she spoke, “I’m sorry…” Isaac blanked out for a brief moment at her words before he smiled and spoke, “About the blood?... Don’t worry about this. Just give a heads up next time you intend you catch both our sides by surprise with your attacks. She didn’t say anything in response to his words, but an odd light flickered across her eyes as the ghost of a smile appeared on her lips for a bit, no body being able to notice it. Isaac stared at the corpse just a few feet away from him as he opened his mouth to say something else. But before words could leave his mouth, a groan echoed across the fifth floor, “Uhhhh…” Both Isaac and Hiya turned their heads at the same time to look at a certain direction where the groan seemed to have come from. A tiny impression had formed on the ground a distance away as a figure lay there stirring slightly before starting to rise, albeit at a slow speed. In the end, the figure revealed itself to be Harry who had been blasted away previously as he fell victim to a penetrative sound attack skill from the now dead wolf king. Isaac looked over and called out to the figure, “Harry, are you okay?” Harry didn’t answer immediately as he shook his head vigorously for a short while. The wolf’s howl had already disturbed his thought process, and the claw that smashed him away only added to his problems as he couldn’t get a grasp on his thoughts for a while. It was why he had only been able to get up somewhat at this point. He actually didn’t seem all too battered by the last attack from the wolf. His fighter gear was still intact as it was one made from high quality materials, and if one could see his bare body, then they would only see a shade of red over his entire chest. He was only bruised on the outside while on the inside, he could say with confidence that a few ribs had been shifted or perhaps even broken. But only this amount of injury was what he had received from the wolf’s attack that had definitely not been as lenient as it seemed. It was enough to show his body’s toughness. Even still though, at this point he felt a completely disoriented as he calmly tried to assess his surroundings but failingly to. He rose to his feet slowly before he realized Isaac had been speaking to him for a while now. He looked over to see him standing as he stared back. Isaac had tried talking again after not receiving a response the first time. He knew Harry had suffered the most in the hands of the wolf as he was the one who had received the brunt of most of the wolf’s attack except for the one he himself had received in the first clash between both sides. He finally received a reply after speaking for the fourth time from the poor berserker, “Yeah, yeah I’m fine Isaac. Thanks.” It was only now that Harry noticed the headless corpse a few steps away from Isaac and the head of the wolf, that they had been battling just now, a distance beside Hiya. When he realized that the beast had finally been slain, he couldn’t help but sigh in relief at this ending for the battle before grimacing due to the pain he felt from his shaken insides. This wolf was a tricky one that had not been easy to fight. It had received a good beating for a while but still hadn’t given up as it suddenly launched another unexpected attack like the one it had launched as it split into three. If they had fought it without properly injuring it somewhat like how Isaac had injured it, then it would have been a battle that could have only won by a fluke. Even as it was already injured, it had still displayed considerably frustrating attacks that found a little hard to guard against despite their readiness. Perhaps it was due to overconfidence and underestimating the beast or perhaps it was due to the beast being just too strong, but this particular mountain king was undoubtedly difficult opponent that seemed way stronger than expected.
