Episode 61.

“Isaac focus!”

Isaac’s focus promptly came back to the situation at hand as he immediately saw the white capsule of light surrounding him shuddering slightly as lines began to spread all over it.

Isaac realized it was cracking and was going to crumble soon, the beasts surrounding him didn’t seem to be relenting in their attempt to squish him to a pulp…

His eyes rapidly flickered in thought as he realized he wouldn’t be able to hold on much longer. After a few seconds, he suddenly breathed out faintly while he was still in a guarding position all this while. He looked at the cracks as he spoke,

“If you damn beasts don’t want to give up while you still can, I guess I won’t be letting you off, now it’s either i or the two of you that dies while the other lives…”

A flash of white glazed over his eyes as the whole capsule of white energy began to shudder at an increasingly vigorous rate, a second later, he opened his mouth as he spat out a single syllable

“Boom!’

Everything abruptly turned white…

The other three people who had their eyes on the ongoing situation as they looked on after noticing something different had their eyes widened to varying degrees a second later when they witnessed a change occur in the stalemate at Isaac’s side.

Everything looked desperate and foreboded dangerous results with regards to what was currently going on, when suddenly a muffled explosion was heard as the three of them witnessed the beasts being forcefully thrown backwards as they were showered with a rain of white light, the shower of white light erupted in all directions as it spread over a radius of a few meter from the point where the beasts had their hands clasped before dissipating in a cloud of white mist.

        The trio stared at the sudden destructive scene, surprise visible in their eyes as they looked to the center of the unexpected erupted where the dust in the air due to the explosion was slowly dispersing.

A little while later, the silhouette of a person was finally dispersed to show the figure of a dazzlingly handsome youth, with eyes like silvery white mist. Said youth could finally see clearly the big mess he caused as he dropped his hands down slowly with a gasp and a single word spoken,

“Whoa…”

The other three also finally clearly saw the final outcome of the whole thing as different expressions and emotions were displayed on their faces.

Adam  looked on with a growing faint smile and receding surprise as Horace’s voice reverberated in his head,

Horace: He actually ended it like this…

Hiya and Harry  also looked on as the saw the two beasts previously roaring with increasing ferocity lying flat on the ground, no single movement could be seen from their large sized bodies as the life force within left their bodies leaving behind a deathly chill.

Isaac also looked on at the fruit of his work as he saw faintly glowing white spikes of varying sizes that were currently dispersing impaled all over on the bodies of the now lifeless beasts, a little too many to calmly count as he felt a little dazed.

Although he had kind of already guessed the outcome of his recently enacted actions would be somewhat like this, he had never expected it to have worked so perfectly well and without a scratch or strain on him.

When he had willed the misty white energy surrounding him to explode, following the thoughts in his head, his willpower all abruptly broke off into different sized clusters that shot off before then rapidly condensing into the form of the spikes that were now almost fully dissipated after badly mutilating the beasts lying dead before him.

He was still slightly dazed when a wave of dizziness washed over him as he began to wobble on his legs. By exhausting all his willpower, although he did no permanent damage of any sorts to himself, he had ultimately drastically and abruptly emptied all his willpower, a feat that would require a strong mental prowess and control. It was very taxing on his currently weak self, not to mention it was his first time doing something like that. He began to tilt over as weakness surged all through his body, but a hand suddenly appeared that pushed against his back, preventing him from falling as a voice spoke out,

Isaac heard Adam ’s voice before he saw his smiling face that was a rare sight. He noticed a peculiar emotion flitting across Adam ’s eyes as he regained his balance.

Isaac immediately a tad awkward by the unnerving smile Adam  showed him, Adam  sensing the awkwardness chuckled slightly as he looked around the spot  where Isaac had somewhat overturned, a peculiar light flickered in his eyes but he chose not to say anything else.

Meanwhile, Hiya and Harry  started to walk over as they stared first at Isaac, then gazed around at the immediate surroundings in a few radius around before then looking back at Isaac, a peculiar expression on both their faces as they stared at him silently.

All the peculiar gazes being directed at Isaac made him feel a tad awkward as he scratched his head. He closed his eyes, as he felt the now familiar enveloping sensation while something like a peculiar feeling appeared in his mind, also a now familiar sight as it was the mysterious sensation he would receive after killing a beast in the tainted zone, a kind of subtle message indicating his option to either accept the curse energy within the beasts or refuse to absorb it which would lead to its dispersal.

He would naturally never deny such an option, who would deny getting stronger after all. So following his approval a split second later, two streams of energy rose up from the corpse of the two beasts and flowed towards Isaac as they joined up into a sizeable torrent of energy, it penetrated his body through his chest before making a beeline downwards towards the mysterious space containing the slowly spinning and already fairly recovered spiral.

Adam  and the others watched this happen silently without saying anything, one thing to take note was the fact that when Harry  had absorbed curse energy earlier, a stream of red colored energy had poured out of the beast’s body before it entered his body, but what Isaac absorbed that was obviously also curse energy was a colorless actually almost invisible energy. That’s right, while Harry  wielded red colored energy and absorbed the same red colored energy from the beasts he killed, Isaac wielded a misty looking white colored energy while the energy he absorbed was actually a colorless ripple, it was almost invisible if not for the disturbance in the surrounding space that occurred when it passed through that they could see…
