Escape.

" What??" Looking at Issac with incredulity on his face, Adam chuckled a bit as he gave a look that said 'what's wrong', although he knew the reason already. Seeing Adam look at him with such a face, he spoke again, the teensiest bit of anger bubbling within him, " How do you expect me to get through all the guards and meet you at the exit? " Sarcasm crept in slowly to the ending of his words, if it was that easy then the people who suffered trying would curse at themselves. But there was no change in expression as Adam spoke again, " Don't bother about all that, I believe you're more eager than anyone to get outta here, just follow my lead. " Hearing the words that basically oozed a confident pride unconsciously, Issac could only calm down as he breathed at a steady pace,he did this because it was the only way he could think with a clear mind.... Okay, so maybe he can do something, he came in here without being seen and he shouldn't be a guard dressing up to play with me.. With his somewhat odd analysis he gave himself a reason, to be honest it wasn't that he chose to blindly trust this person, but ever since he saw him and started conversing with him he had been a different kind of feeling, like he was talking to a close relative, someone he could trust, he hadn't felt like this in a long way and although it was faint at the beginning it was increasingly stronger at the moment, he bewildered but also at ease, so he continued to speak " Okay.... if I agree to your words and I can could actually get out of this place with your help, why can't we get going now, is there a problem? " At this question, Adam didn't feel much, he already expected this to happen, he felt different talking to him, it was why he stretched the conversation out a bit, in this world that was cold and lonely, he was one of the few that could give him a warm feeling. While he had been waiting for Issac's reply from time to time, he had been conversing with someone else in his mind space. " What do you think Horace, doesn't his own seem to be a bit late. What's Astral waiting for." " ..... I can't say Adam, we all know, when we conducted the ritual, the process and setup was different for all four of the rituals, a different condition and process could have been set for the two of them. " " But we're still meant to feel each other's presence, it wasn't until about six months ago that I felt his own which actually turned out to be the closest, I've felt the others and they should have felt mine, his just appeared like it was lying dormant or something. " "..... As much as the things we know, I can't say for sure that I know all what happens and how it does, a sovereign entity has always been fundamentally different, Astral would perhaps know more, it shouldn't be much surprise, at least we've found him now. " " Hm I guess you're right. " " I'm glad you think so... now if you don't mind I'd like to keep some quiet time." A typical person would have found a situation like this odd, a man talking to someone in his head, is he crazy or something..... But Adam wasn't typical and neither was Horace, a spirit body in his Adam's mind space. Adam knew how Horace was with his peace and quiet, only if you specifically ask him something would he speak up, other than that he would almost never say a word, he gave one last look within his mind space at Horace who sat down in a meditative posture and then left him, coming to his senses again he heard the question posed by Issac and gave a slight shrug, " No big reason, I just don't feel like doing so today." With a blank look on his face, Issac stared as he asked with an odd expression " You don't feel like doing so..like are you feeling under the weather or tired or something. " A chuckle broke out of Adam, involuntarily actually, he rarely laughed, but being around him brought around good vibes and memories.. " Feeling under the weather is a figurative state that doesn't exist for me, and I couldn't be more energized now than ever, just don't be impatient and wait till tomorrow, it'll give you time to say goodbye to this place and probably convince your few friends to come along with you. " Unsure of what to say now, he just kept quiet. Seeing that Adam felt it was time to leave, " Alright, I'll leave now, to make it easier for you, someone will come over to help you out. " And with that, He blended back into the darkness and disappeared like he was never there. Issac looked on at the spot where the darkness was still present, the whole conversation had been too much of an oddball for Issac, he pinched himself to confirm his state, and the sharp sting informed him that it wasn't a dream, at least not a typical type. Laying back down on his bed though he felt at ease, like he felt relaxed and a feeling of warmth, he could only believe him now. _______________________________________________________________ " What!!" A hand rushed to cover a mouth but the word had already come out and he looked sheepishly at the crowd of dull faced prisoners, but they didn't care much as they turned their heads and faced their businesses again. Issac turned back to look at the Harry looking at him with wide eyes, he made a pissed face as he addressed the shock on his friends face, " I know, I also didn't believe him at first, but I got convinced later on and besides if he was lying nothing big would happen, he asked me to wait for his signal and we can act after that. " Looking at the person who met and befriended for about six months, Harry's shock and disbelief melted away as he felt the trust in his words and trust for the person talking, then finally a feeling of gratitude appeared on Harry's face, he trusted the words at least, Issac told him one right thing, they just had to wait for him to come along with his signal, if the signal didn't come they wouldn't go anywhere. " Thanks a lot brother, it's a good thing there's no battle for us today, so we can wait properly. " Harry patted Issac on the shoulder as this now trusted friend of his looked at him with a slight daze. " You believe me.. so quickly?" Chuckling he replied, "well I don't have anything to lose right. I trust your words and if you're lying to me then perhaps I was just meant to be tricked. " A smile grew on Issac's face, " thanks for your trust." And then a comfortable silence ensued between the two, they both knew any other words said would just turn things awkward, they were young but they were currently in the pit, a ruthless place, feelings like trust and warmth were already foreign concepts so anything else would just complicate the atmosphere even for these two who were able to keep their minds. And like on cue, they noticed a guard walking up to them, a tranquil expression on his face, they knew they were the ones since his gaze was smack dab on their duo. Worry bubbled up immediately, did he happen to hear Harry's shout, perhaps he's already suspecting, wait.... why does it feel I'm the doing a bad thing anyway. With that in mind, he calmed a bit and watched as he came a stop at their front. "..... Seems like you're done convincing him uhn, alright then follow me. " "....... " "....... " They were both blank as the words the guard said registered in their heads, it was until a feeling of recognition bubbled within Issac that he uttered in surprise, " A-Adam??" The other two focused on him as the guard let out a faint smile, " Well currently, this guy's the one who I'm using to guide you so yeah, I'm Adam. Now let's get going. " In shock the two looked at each other, a doubtful look in Harry's eyes, but Issac still felt that familiarity so he urged him on, and they both stood up slowly and followed behind the guard who apparently wasn't in control. And like that they crossed through all the warriors, none paying attention to the two about to actually escape nor the one leading them to the exit. It was as they walked forward and got closer and closer to the exit that Issac with his increasing excitement and cautiousness glanced to the side and saw the girl who they acknowledged as the pit queen notice them as well and then, she walked to them with no hesitation. It was odd when the guard then, and when she walked towards them as well, Issac grew alarmed and wondered why Adam was attracting different people, and then what happened next gave Issac and Harry a little fright... The girl reached them as expected and even the guard leading them paused as he stared in her direction, a glint passing through his eyes but he didn't stop her or do anything. She got to their front and stared at them, first looking at Harry and then turning to lay her gaze on Issac properly. They had both seen before afar and at a moderate distance but it was at this point that they were able to confirm her appearance as she stood there, the world seemed to freeze for a bit as Issac assessed her, if he was to hand out a grade, she'd get a triple A plus and maybe more if possible. Basically she was beautiful, she had black hair with purple streaks, her eyes a deep amythest color, lips pink and a complexion, her skin seemed a bit rough but that was inevitable in a place like this. Issac was about to keep staring until her words brought him back to the present, back into shock. " Please take me with you,I want to escape from here along with you two. " Myriad emotions erupted on the boy's faces and an expression of interest crossed the guard's eyes . " Wh-What are you saying." All this while, the girl had been looking cautiously at the guard beside the two, after what she said and not a single action was taken from him, she calmed down as she exhaled visibly, then she focused at Issac as she replied him in a clam voice, " Look I know you're trying to escape, please don't ask me how I know that, but just let me join you and escape with you. " While Issac was still thinking, Harry spoke up with a frown, " Don't trust her Issac, she's suspicious, she's probably coming from that sick supervisor. " Not a change was in her expression as she spoke again replying the accusation, " I know you don't trust, and I know you shouldn't be able to, but please let me with you... " Speaking again, Harry was already frowning, " If you feel we're escaping then why can't you try to on your own, why trust us. " " If I escape on my own, I'll be caught in a short time and brought back, but you guys look confident... I'd rather not risk my chances. " While they bickered back and forth, Issac watched as he thought, before he spoke up, " Alright. " And then silence broke in until Harry realized what he meant, " What d- " " Harry, if I told you that I feel the same trust as I did towards this guy, would you believe it... I feel we can trust her, let's just get going and have her tag along. " Naturally he meant what he said, he did feel trust otherwise he would consider it twice before denying anything she said. And besides she was a beauty, albeit a queer one, since they could have a good view accompany them around then why not. Harry stared at him, checking to see if anything was wrong with this person in front of him, but when he saw the calm look in his eyes he sighed and muttered a "fine", and like that the guard who hadn't spoke a single word ever since continued to lead them on... Very soon they had actually gotten into the exit passageway and they met no one along the way, their path as smooth as could be. Then finally they came to the surface, a place that Issac still remembered clearly, there wasn't anyone at the counter, the blue haired guy was no where to be seen, at this point the three of them behind the calm guard were nervous and cautious, Issac was feeling relieved and estatic as he would no longer be in that hell hole but his happiness was no where near Harry's who had been there for over a year at this point, the girl looked calm as she moved forward but one could a stirring light in her eyes. Finally as they got out into the fresh air of the outside, they all felt a jolt through their systems as the stale air that had been breathing for so long was washed out at a moderate pace, it was then that the guard at their front turned back as he looked at the three " Well. I guess this is this guy's stop." All of then shocked as the guard literally turned into dust, blown away with a slight breeze. They couldn't help the panic they felt, until Adam's voice rang out in Issac's head, calming him down. He turned to them as he beckoned with his hands, " Come on, he's actually still here, that just wasn't his real self, he said to run to the right. " And with that he ran, emotions flashing through both their eyes didn't stop them as they chased after him, and that was how the trio escaped with none being the wiser about their escape, for now at least.
