At the current moment, anyone who could happen to stumble into the fifth and final floor of a certain tainted mountain within the zone that was the tainted zone, would come across a rather peculiar sight, one that would be pretty hard for them to understand.
A raging swathe of flames was burning steadily as it seemingly rose towards the ceiling of the fifth floor. It was an odd sight that only got stranger when seeing the only two people present in the fifth floor doing nothing but just staring at it without doing anything.
The flames had previously been burning in a small radius, but after a while it had grown much bigger as it spread further, increasing the space it occupied.
Harry had been looking all around but couldn’t find Isaac who seemingly wasn’t in the fifth floor with the two of them. He stood up to look around the floor, wondering if Isaac decided to go to the lower floors or something. It was then that Hiya’s voice rang out and stopped Harry in his tracks.
“Don’t bother looking around, you won’t find him anywhere…” she spoke to Harry as she kept staring at the bonfire for a reason Harry could understand, but his eyes quickly widened with the next words that Hiya said, “Isaac’s sitting within the flames, he lit the flames himself”
“What… ?”
The confusion and bewilderment Harry felt at the moment was all too evident as he stared at Hiya blankly, her words hard to understand. But although he didn’t understand, he had heard her words clearly and now also turned to stare at the flame as he regarded it while muttering to himself, “Why is he in there, and why isn’t he screaming…”
But his confusion was bound not to yield answers as like Hiya who had felt the confusion and perplexity, he could only keep staring till the flames died out, although they didn’t seem to be close to that level yet.
Darkness had always been ever present among all thing in the world, among even all the elements. And at this point there was currently one particular that had been mysteriously ever present. Within the place where no light could be found, the place oozed out darkness and yet anyone witnessing the sight of it would instinctively feel a difference in it, a difference that described the darkness as not being darkness.
A queer feeling would spread in any and all hearts when feeling this sensation, save for one out of the myriad number of hearts beating steadily and pumping out life.
And yet, amidst the contrasted natured darkness, sparks of light had begun to appear in every direction, every which way within the darkness seemingly all birthed sparks of light at the same time as the sparks of light that seemed to have appeared from the impossible shifted from their position of birth, all moving as they congregated towards a particular spot in the darkness.
Wherever they passed they seemed to naturally and mystically affect their surroundings as the thick darkness that permeated the space shockingly seemed to recede slightly, melting away like snow in increasingly warm temperatures.
The many sparks in the darkness converged towards a specific point as even more sparks were birthed into existence, then followed the rest to converge. At this point, a heat wave spread as the first of the sparks to reach the converging point met each other and merged together. On merging, the few sparks attained a new size as they grew bigger under the influence of the merging.
But it obviously wouldn’t stop there as the sparks that had merged seemed to only be less than a percentage of the total number of sparks that had all been birthed.
The sparks of light still moving towards the spot of converging continued moving without a hitch as more sparks collided against each other, both old and new and merged seamlessly like they were and would always be one and the same.
The merged sparks never stopped receiving the other sparks still approaching as the size continued to increase. Very soon, alongside the increasingly high temperature, the merged sparks had grown to no longer be the same. Looking at it from afar would give one the sensation of looking at a ball of fire and yet something much more bigger than that. Something was being born.
The ball of flames naturally only continued to grow bigger, not even in a single moment had it stopped. It’s growth fueled by the seemingly endless sparks of light was looking to be endless and with it’s seemingly endless growth came an endless wave of heat. The wave of heat spread out from the ball of fire still growing bigger as it moved through the space of darkness, melting it all away with shocking ease. The darkness was no longer omnipresent and ever reaching. The absolute it gave off reduced substantially as the wave of heat spreading from the ball of fire approached and passed through it before moving beyond it to reach even more darkness.
The birth of one thing in the seemingly endless space was a mythical and miraculous thing to watch in and of itself. It looked like the only thing present within the space of darkness which was infinitely larger compared to it and yet the wave of heat it emanated spread far and wide.
After a considerable amount of time had gone, the ball of fire that had never stopped growing had actually begun to slow down its growth as the sparks of light around it converging towards it grew smaller in numbers compared to its formerly endless quantity.
In exchange for its reduction, the ball of fire had grown as flames lashed out from it, flickering and burning the darkness around itself into nothingness.
One who might have watched this scene would finally to see something as realization would set in.
At this point, directly opposite the ball of flames, at a distance so close to it yet so far off it seemed out of reach, was a figure—a human figure.
It was a somewhat blurry figure wreathed in white light as it suspended itself in the endless space of darkness, floating freely as it stayed at a spot without moving. The face of the figure wasn’t hard to see despite the blurry attribute of it’s body. And if anyone of the only three within the vicinity of a certain mountain were to lay their eyes on the face, then it would be all to easy to recognize it, as the face of the figure was that of Isaac’s. It was surprising yet it was the truth, the figure floating in the mass of darkness witnessing the birth of something was none other than Isaac.
Two words appeared in his thoughts at this moment like it was something that was always there, focusing on it, it said:
‘Flame child’
Isaac pondered on the words in his thoughts, it was something that felt to him like it was foreign but yet he always knew it. Contrasting feelings like this weren’t a new thing to him, but he was growing somewhat tired of them.
Right now, he had only managed to faintly realize that he was in a special state. His current figure was exactly his real figure, instead it was his soul body. And although with hearing that and seeing his surroundings, he looked to be far off from his body in a place unknown, he was actually within himself. He was within his body that he didn’t know had caught fire. The space he was standing in was a space within his body, in some unknown spot. How it felt so real and boundless, like he was in the true void, eluded him. But there was one thing he knew that came instinctively like the two words in his thoughts,
He was witnessing the birth of a sun within this space that was in his body…
The birth of his own sun.
