Unusual roommates.

The sun was quick to rise the next morning as the sun rays spilt into... ah, right there were no sun rays where Jaden's room was, infact the entire house was so sealed off it was almost airtight, at many points he would occasionally think of this, but this moment was different, others noticing the scene around Jaden's body would be shocked, he was in a meditative state, one he never left since last night after he came back, with the thirteen white circles hovering around him he subconsciously cultivated the thin strands of elemental energy within him into a substantial river within him, infact it was already big enough to seemingly fill up his entire core space, but he knew this was just an illusion, when cultivating from the first stage to the third, 

the main goal was to increase the amount of elemental energy within the body substantially, after the third stage the fourth stage and above would also need an increase in energy but also had other prerequisites for breaking through. So basically what he was experiencing was a breakthrough to a higher level of the first stage, anyone witnessing this scene that had seen Jaden no later than yesterday would be shocked, he had broken through a level!, not a slight increase?!, although not the same as breaking through a stage but it still took time.

As he was also feeling shocked, he couldn't help but praise the power of the thirteen elemental circles he had, But as Astral had told him not to be too surprised, "it would only get harder" Astral told him indifferently. He couldn't hear anything else as he focused on cultivating, but now he knew it was time to get up, it was already time for him to leave for the academy because he couldn't stay here, all students of the academy had to report back to the academy after all vacations, it was a mandatory rule. After a quick clean up, he took a mental note of all the things he brought along with him and finally stepped out of his room feeling calm and refreshed.

As Usual he came into a scene of the three men he just got to know recently and couldn't help but be grateful to, he felt if it wasn't for them, he wouldn't be able to have the chance he had now. Feeling his presence as well, they all turned to face as they sized him up again. "Looking good player, take care with those fragile hearts boy, we don't any future hero broken down in tears before she realizes her full potential okay? " Harry was the first to speak up, and as usual the first thing he did was tease the poor guy, Jaden couldn't do anything as he knew he couldn't beat in the first place nor could he try to, so he just kept quiet and feigned ignorance to the best of his ability, or so he thought, he was light skinned and so the tinge of shade of red on his skin was hard to miss. Finally before the moment could get any worse for Jaden, Matthew spoke up, stepping in and reclaiming the attention, "alright that's enough Harry, give the guy a break will ya", eliciting a slight shrug from Harry, "I'll try my best". "Alright Jaden, you'll be heading off to the academy now and I can't take you all the way in cause I'd be restricted, so soon you'll be on your own, although the academy is a safe place, so to speak, you won't be free from dangers, you'll slowly come to realize it when it's time, I know I don't need to say much at all since you're old enough to think on your own, so anyways whenever you are free you can head back over here to take a look since this place is going one of our long time temporary bases, we'd love to assess your growth and strength whenever you come." Jaden couldn't help but feel he was talking to him the way a close family talks to another, and it made his heart feel warm, 'it wouldn't be bad to have him as family, he already is I guess'.

Then after those words, Matthew raised his left hand and flipped it palm side up, drawn to the act, Jaden looked down to his palm facing up and saw a ring on it, for a moment he was confused until clarity struck him and he became drawn to it with his eyes never leaving, because he knew what that was, it was a spacial ring!, it was a ring that had its own independent space and could store lots of things depending on how big the independent space was, it was one very expensive accessory due to the fact that it could only be created by someone at least at the seventh stage of cultivation, not to talk about how scarce they were around here, it also needed that person to be able to bend space, that means the person had to be a rare space element cultivator!, it wasn't easy reaching that stage so once someone like that does, he's said to have immediately reached the sky, because someone like that could create two or three of these rings and immediately cash out big time, they were the people most people would always love to have beside them and would always try to satisfy, so basically it wasn't an easy task getting something like a spacial ring because one not only needed a good sum but also good connections that could get you through a channel to get one.

As Jaden kept on staring, Matthew spoke up again, "This is for you, from your mom, since you might need to carry a lot of things around with you, there are also some other things inside for you" handing it over to a surprised Jaden he continued, "Put a drop of your blood over it and let it seep in". Jaden couldn't be more familiar with the process than he already was, but drawing blood from your finger was a tad harder than he thought, in the end he drew from his elemental energy to puncture a hole through his skin and finally dripped the blood, like the magic the blood disappeared from the surface and then the ring glowed a red color for a second, then finally while still very surprised he wore it on his finger. Then as soon as he wore it he felt a kind of pulse coming from the ring that immediately moved up to his head in a split second and then in his head was the view of an empty white space with a few things in a corner, he focused on it and saw a silver case and two gym bags, he couldn't see what was inside them so he removed his consciousness from within and focused on the people watching him. Seeing he was done exploring the ring, Matthew spoke up "Alright so that's all for now, let's not take more of your time, you need to get going... See you later".

He couldn’t help his excitement when his feet finally landed on the official grounds of the academy, from here on out you could feel the elite aura the whole place gave of. After some searching around, with the help of the map in his hand and the directing arrows around the grounds, he finally found where he would staying, his dormitory building, he went inside and was greeting with nothing else on the ground floor but rows of metallic double doors put with equal spacing beside each other, they were actually elevators but it was an odd sight for Jaden to see so many put together, but then he saw numbers in the increasing hundreds displayed above each elevator and then remembering the number of his room he saw on the plastic card he was given at the registration point he realized it was the elevators for the eight floors of the dormitory. So after figuring out the elevator for the floor he was going to, he clicked on the dial beside it and entered the spacious silver compartment.

The whole experience was a thrilling ride for Jaden, when everything settled down after the invasion and rescue and all, Earth was bound to not be the same anymore, the people in the lead of humanity, those who later on became the leading figures, decided that the way everything was should be kept that way, that is the setting of the cities and countries as different districts and sectors should be left the way it was, going back to building the world as it once was going to be a hectic and fruitless task, so the idea of countries and states was wiped of the map and more districts were constructed on the places that had previously been ravaged by the corrupteds, so there were big districts and small districts and countless sectors that sprung up, the racist ideals that people from different nationalities had back then towards others had long been washed away ever since the invasion so the ideas were quickly accepted, it was even said to be the main contributor to the proposition as most people didn’t want to leave the home they struggled to grow in after the odd days of rejection they got from the natives there. So everything changed and Earth was finally a place everyone accepted each other for who they were, well almost everyone. It was something they were bound to do when they realized there were other intelligent lifeforms out there that had much more strength than they did. But some people were a little reluctant to just let the old go, so in new sectors they came together to recreate life as it was on Earth previously, with no aura of the present or the future on it. Later on it became somewhat like a retreat and resort area for people who wanted to relax away from the atmosphere that was everywhere else. It was one place like that, that Jaden grew up in, and due to that things like sophisticated gadgets and tech was somewhat of a rare sight, hence the strong from hi now.

When he was finally able to get his head straight, he was already stepping onto the floor that the elevator opened up to him. This was where the guide given to him ended so he was going to have to walk around the floor a bit to find out which room was his, luckily the number sequence on the doors were easy to understand and follow so after five minutes of walking he got to Room 8-87, his room. Putting his thumb on a screen-like surface, it lit up and scanned his thumb, after a few seconds it changed to a green color from white and a low voice sounded out with a few greetings as the door opened up and he pushed his way in, what came into his vision when he got inside was an almost full room, three bed spaces with plain designs could be seen, and on two of them, there already happened to be two young boys like him sitting on them, he didn’t have much friends nor did he communicate with people a lot so he was a little unsure on what to do, but before he could think up a greeting, one of the guys previously lying flat on his bed sat up very quickly despite his blown size, with a bit of enthusiasm in his eyes he stood up and walked over the room with a size of sixteen square meters and came in front of Jaden with a smile on his face, “hi, you should be the last guy in this room right, nice to meet you, what’s your name?”, caught by surprise at the guy’s eagerness he was silent for a bit before shaking the hand he offered as he spoke up “I’m Jaden, Jaden Miguel”, “oh, nice name”, the guy said as released his hand and looked over to the other guy in the room who hadn’t said a word since Jaden got in, he seemed to be very engrossed in what he was doing on a laptop in front of him, “that guy over there is Ayo, John Ayo, He should be the one introducing himself, but ever since he got in the only thing he told me was his name and he sat down not listening to any other thing I said.” The fatty said with a slight frown, it was only now that the other guy looked up at Jaden and said “nice to meet you” and immediately focused back down on the laptop in front of him.

At this point Jaden couldn’t help feeling a bit unsure about the room assigned to him, he looked at the roommate in front of him as he said, “You haven’t told me your name yet”. And as he said that, he noticed his face twitched a little bit but then broke into a weird smile, “I’m Bloat, Bloat Sanders…” as he said his name, a look of embarrassment lingered in his eyes as he hastily added “..but you can call me B.T”…… the room at this point was as quiet as possible, you could only hear breathing sounds coming from all three of them, Jaden was stunned into silence before he could give a reply as he wondered if he heard wrong, and the guy on the bed at the corner had his eyes filled with shock as he finally broke of his concentration on the laptop, he also hadn’t known the guy’s name as he was somewhat of an introvert so he just kept to himself after giving his name, After a full three seconds of silence , just as Bloat was about to say something to ease off the silence, a loud laughter broke out, it was actually coming from guy named Ayo as he lost all control and laughed with his face pointing to the ceiling, at this point Bloat couldn’t help the flush of red on his skin as he looked at the guy with indignation and surprise in his eyes, he hadn’t expected the guy to be the one to laugh. As the laughter continued, Jaden also couldn’t help but break into a grin, he walked over to his bed space as he put down the bag he had been carrying, just then as Bloat was also about to go sulk on his bed, Ayo laughing out his heart lost control as happened to push the laptop by his down to the floor as the screen was shown, realizing what he did, he sobered up a little as he made to pick it up, not before Bloat who was still staring at him noticed what was actually playing on the laptop. His eyes blew out as shock colored his face and he blurted out, “Is that p**n?!!”.

As they both heard him, Ayo who was still chuckling to himself froze in place as Jaden looked over with confusion in his eyes.
