Jaxon’s POV When I opened my eyes, it was dark. I shifted slightly and felt blocked on all sides. “Where am I?” I asked myself. Then I realized, “Damn! I’m in a coffin.” I remembered the moment before I drowned. I had been in a coffin. “Wait! Did I die?” I asked myself. Then I thought again, “I resurrected.” I was confused because I had expected to die the moment water filled my nostrils. Surprisingly, I didn’t know how I was still breathing. Maybe the heavens favored me. I tilted my head slightly and saw light through the chasm at the top of the coffin. I breathed in and sighed, gathering courage before breaking the coffin open.
