Alisha didn’t know what her mum was thinking or what she was planning but the worst thing she could’ve done was task her with duty of dropping all the visitors off at their respective houses; she didn’t mind that, except that meant she’d be dropping Hayley off at her house too, and based on what Hayley had said when she had tried to protest against accepting the favour, Alisha assumed that she would be dropping Hayley off last and they would probably be the last two in the car – and Alisha’s assumption was right, they would be together and they would be alone.  And that thought had set Alisha’s nerves on edge.
