Alisha was a person who took pride in the fact that she had many talents; she could play sports, she was smart and she could sit across the room from her mate and pretend that she wasn’t bothered by her presence at all…or by the fact that her mate was ignoring her and paying more attention to that vampire…or that her mate was now leaning into the vampire’s seat to look over their schedule, shoulder brushing ever so slightly – no. It didn’t bother her at all.
