For the next three days that followed Aaron's return, he spent every free moment he had with me. Sometimes, he would drive me to court himself. Sometimes, he would simply sit in my office and do his own work.
I don't mind his company at all. He's great company, and alongside his sister, they made sure I was never truly alone. This morning, he dropped me off at work and drove my own car to work, saying it would be easier to come get me later.
I couldn't argue with him, despite being the lawyer among us. He's that convincing. I was building a case this morning for a new case we just got. This one would garner a lot of public interest because of the personalities involved, and I know all eyes would be on my firm during the trial.
