I woke up with mixed emotions. On one hand, I was worried about the oncoming event. On the other hand, I felt confident thanks to Dorothy's intervention. I looked like a more relaxed version of myself. My blonde hair had more volume, and the sheen was just amazing. I didn't know how much I had neglected taking proper care of myself now.
Dorothy promised she was going to make sure I go to the spa at least once a month. I checked my time and saw that I had at least two hours to get ready. I suddenly regretted not taking up Dorothy's offer to help me get ready this morning.
I rushed to the shower to get ready. I did my skincare routine meticulously and reminded myself that I had to eat something before going to my parent's. I'm sure I will be too busy telling off nosy relativ
