The Werewolf Witch and her Alpha Mate

Chapter 2

'Morning Princess' mum said as I woke up. 'Happy Birthday Sweetheart' she said and I smiled. I missed dad and Jake as they had to leave for pack business last evening and promised they would be back before my party. Every year on my birthday, Jake would buy me a gift and would find it funny to jump on me and wake me up in the morning. 'Hello Emma' I heard a voice in my head, 'Who are you?' I asked and I heard her giggle. 'I am your wolf Zoey' she said and now I smiled. 'You finally spoke to your wolf' mum said and I nodded, I am really happy as I will be shifting for the first time too. I am not sure how my wolf is going to look but I know she will be beautiful, she sounded so sweet too. 

Mia and I spent a lot of time talking to our wolves and we were both excited to see them too. They say the time you are born is the exact same time you will shift on your 18th birthday. I was not sure what time I was born and I forgot to ask mum too. It was 6 in the evening and the party was going to start at 7, so Mia and I started dressing after we freshened up. I pinned her hair and mine in a messy bun, I was so excited when Jake, Jayden and my dad would see my butterfly tattoo at the centre of my  back, which I got the day we went shopping, mum was not willing at first but then she finally agreed. We looked at ourselves in the mirror and we looked gorgeous, our mates were going to be blown away by our beauty and we were sure they were going to be super possessive. 

'Jake where the f**k are you?' I asked when his name flashed on my phone. He had not reached and I was really pissed. I could not hear him clearly as there was a lot of coverage issue. Mia and I walked down to the packs ballroom where there were many handsome unmated wolves looking at us hungrily. We walked in with poise and confidence to the stage where Mia's mum and mine where waiting for us. 'Since the Alphas are not here and will be joining us soon, I would like to officially start the party with the mating ball, now we all know how it works, if you smell the air and cannot find your mate, you are allowed to choose another mate if you like, if he or she rejects you then you cannot try to force yourselves on them nor can you try for another. You will just have to wait to find a mate after you go back to your pack. No fated mate can reject their mate without actually giving them a chance' am I clear mum said and everyone replied with a yes. All the girls formed a circle while the boys formed the outer circle. I saw the twins and their eyes turned black looking at me, which meant their wolves were trying to take over. 'Hell is going to break loose is these two are my mates' I said to Zoey and she laughed, 'They are not don't worry', 'so you already know who it is ?' I asked, 'No I don't and I can't smell our mate too but let's see and if anyone tried to choose you don't accept as I can feel our mate is close by' she said and I nodded. 

The dance started and the girls twirled while the guys watched us before they started removing off their clothes and exposed their strong muscular bodies. I saw some guys shift into their big wolves and pinning their mates to the ground to mark them, while some guys fought each other over a she wolf or two. I saw Mia giving me the worried looks and I saw the twins approaching me. I was sandwiched between the twins all of a sudden and Mia was tackled to the ground by some big alpha wolf. We were about to push them away when a loud growl ripped through the air and Mia's eyes widen seeing Jayden at the entrance staring at the Alpha wolf over her. Jayden shifted into his black wolf as he jumped on the alpha pulling him off Mia. Mia quickly stood up and ran to her mother as Jayden growled and scratched at the alpha. 'Stop' mum commanded and they both stopped, 'Mia do you have a mate here' she asked and Mia sniffed the air and then pointed to Jayden saying Mate, Jayden also responded by growling Mate and the alpha wolf stepped aside. No one was allowed to steal one's mate and that was the rule. I was so lost in what was happening that I did not realise that one of the twins placed his hands on my waist and that's when I heard the most ferrel loudest growl ever. My body shivered at the sound and I sniffed the air, 'MATE' Zoey growled and I turned my eyes towards the door, there stood Jake my brother looking angry as hell and his eyes were golden brown which meant his wolf was in control, he was staring at me with love and lust. His eyes roamed over my body, like he was undressing me with his eyes and when his eyes landed on my waist where one of twins hands were resting he let out another loud growl 'MINE' he said before shifting mid air and tackling the twins. I could not believe what was happening, Jake is my Mate... but how? I was about to run out of the house, when heat swept over me and I crawled into a shrimp on the floor as pain erupted all over my body 'Ahhhhhhh' I screamed and Jake was by my side in seconds, followed by mum and dad. She is going to shift, mum said and I felt Jake lift me off the ground and ran outside towards the woods whispering softly telling me everything will be fine. As we reached the woods, he placed me on the grass close to nature. 'The dress is too tight' I cried as pain continued to take over my body and I felt his trembling fingers touch my skin as he flipped me over and unzipped my dress. I lay there screaming in pain and I heard my mum come to me, I knew dad was around but male wolves usually stay away from she wolves when they are either in heat or during their first shift as the scent that they let out is intoxicating and difficult to control their wolves. With Jake near me no other male wolf would come closer as Jake would rip their heads off in anger. 'Mom make it stop' I cried, 'Do you know who your mate is sweetheart, he is the only one who can ease your pain' she said and I looked at Jake. 'She is my Mate' Jake said and I felt a calmness wash over me. 'Then you know what to do son' mum said as she got up and walked towards dad. I was shocked for a second, how come she was not shocked at his confession? 

Jake removed my clothes and his pulling me towards his strong muscular chest, his skin felt so cool against me and it felt like the heat was getting less, he brushed his lips against mine, his hot breath on my skin and I felt sparks shoot from my body to his and his to mine. 'Now listen to me baby girl, do what I say' he said and I nodded feeling the pain reduce. 'Close your eyes and see me standing in front of you, now imagine me shift into my big mid night blue wolf' he said and I did as he asked. 'Now look at yourself standing in front of me naked, looking so beautiful' he said and I felt blood rush to my cheeks. 'Now look at your feet, they have turned into paws and you beautiful soft skin has turned into fur' he said as he ran his hand up and down my naked back feeling my skin. I did as he said and I felt my bones remould and then the pain was suddenly gone when he sniffed my scent and I sniffed his, I opened my eyes and I saw Jake in his wolf form, I looked down and noticed my paws were white. I heard my mum and dad gasp and I looked at them confused. 'You are a beautiful white wolf, and your eyes are purple' mum said and I could not believe my self, mum and dad also shifted as the four of us ran to the lake and it was the first time I actually saw my wolf. 

'Zoey you are so beautiful' I say and she smiles, I felt my mate come close to me and rub his nose in my fur smelling me and leaving his scent on me. 'Mum I don't understand how Jake and I are mates and why am I a white wolf when Jake, you and dad are mid night blue wolves' I said and she smiled through the mind link. 'Let's go home then we shall speak' she said and I saw mum and dad take off to the place where they shifted before they wore their clothes and went back to the pack house. 

'What is you name my beautiful mate' Jake and his wolf asked mine 'Zoey' she answered and blushed at the same time. 'Hi Zoey, I am Xander and I am very happy and lucky to be your fated mate' he said and Zoey purred. After a few minutes of cuddling with each other we ran back to the place I shifted. I picked my clothes to go behind the tree to change but Jake stopped me, he was already in his human form and he was naked. 'I want to be with you while you complete your first shift Em' Jake said and I nodded. I imagined my human form and in seconds I was standing naked in front of Jake, my brother and my mate.
