Chapter 4

Alpha Jack and Luna Cora's Discussion

We have to tell them Cora, its only fair they know the truth. 

No Jack I promised, I would never let them know the truth. We have always been good parents and never created any difference between them. I am sure if we tell them that they cannot be mates its a mistake they will understand. 

Are you serious Cora, you would prefer that they die from rejection. 

No Jack, I am saying we will all be together and we will love and take care of both of them.

No Cora this is stupid. I don't care if it hurts you but I will not do this to them. (It was the first time that Jack used his alpha tone on his mate and her wolf cowered seeing how angry he got.)

I am sorry Cora (Jack pulled her in his arms and kissed her forehead while he rubbed circles on her back trying to calm her frightened wolf) I love you my darling and I have always done whatever you have said but this time its different, I can't be mean to our kids, so what if they know the truth we will all still be a family. (Jack said as he kissed her cheeks and her tears that escaped her beautiful eyes.) 

Jake's POV

As we reached dad's office we knocked twice and opened the door, we saw mom seated on dad's lap with tears in her eyes, she was crying but why. 'Mom what happened' Emma said as she ran to hug mum. 

'Emma, Jake, Jayden and Mia I would like all of you to be seated on the couch' mum spoke with a firm voice and I saw dad kiss her forehead before she stood up. 'Whatever I am going to say needs to remain only between the 6 of us, am I clear' mum said and we nodded.

Emma's POV

Mum looked very upset and I did not know why, when she looked at Jake and me my body trembled, was she going to ask us to reject each other because I am his sister. My wolf whimpered and I knew there was nothing I could do but accept the rejection if she asked Jake to reject me. I knew it would hurt but I could not put our family through a shameful situation like this.

'Jayden and Mia since the two of you are mates and since Jayden is the future Beta of the pack, Mia you would be the Beta female like Jayden's mum, hence it's important that both of you be part of this discussion too' mum said and then looked at me. 'Emma, what I am going to say right now is going to cause you a lot of pain but you need to understand that everything we did and will do has a reason behind it, please don't judge your dad and me' she said and I whimpered. Jake was immediately at my side growling at mum for causing me pain as dad pulled mom by his side and growled back at Jake. 

'Stop it both of you' I said in frightened voice and they both stopped growling and looked at me with love and sadness in their eyes. Dad, mum and Jake love me very much and as much pain this is causing me I know its double for them. 'Please stay calm and let mum speak' I said with tears in my eyes and mum, dad and Jake were by my side hugging me and trying to calm me down. After a few minutes I took a deep breathe and nodded to my mum to continue, Jake was holding my hand and that was actually comforting me. 

'Emma, you and Jake... I know that you are mates and hence its important that I tell you this, it's been 18 years since we visited the Werewolves and Witches Pack, it was the only pack in the world where mated werewolves and witches would stay together, we were there to visit Jack cousin Noah who was mated to the queen of all witches Amelia. We stayed there with them for a few days as Amelia was pregnant, a few days after her baby was born they were attacked by the Vampire King who killed Noah and Amelia because he wanted Amelia to be his wife and she refused. Amelia used the last of her powers to protect her baby and banish the vampire king to the underworld where demons ruled. He promised he would be back and take her child as his bride and at that time no one would be able to do anything to save her. Jack and I thought it would be best if we took her with us that way she would be safe and we bring her up as our own' before mum could continue I felt my whole body shake and Jake pulled me in his arms trying to pacify me. 'And I am her child' I breathed in Jake's chest but everyone in that room heard it clearly. 'Yes Emma' Mum and Dad said in unison and then I could not stop the tears from rolling down my face. I closed my eyes and let darkness take over me before I heard Jake growling and mum crying, dad trying to comfort her, Mia was calling for the pack doctor and Jayden was calling out to me trying to revive me while he was trying to control Jake's wolf from taking over.

Jake's POV

It's been 3 days since Em's birthday and since the day mum said that she was not my sister, she was the daughter of the queen of witches who was killed by the Vampire King and swore to take revenge by taking Em as his bride. My blood boiled and Xander growled ferociously thinking of someone else trying to take our mate away from us. I have always loved Em and was always protective about her and now I understood why. I sat near her bed in the hospital room as she slept peacefully, she is so beautiful and so perfect but she does not know it and I promised my self and my wolf that once she wakes up we will make sure she knows how beautiful she is and how much we love her.

I saw her small fingers move as she slowly opened her eyes, 'Jake' she said and I rushed to her side, I lifted her up to a sitting position as I gave her water to sip on. 'What happened' she asked and I looked at her wide eyes. 'You don't remember' I asked and she closed her eyes trying to recollect. She may have remembered what had happened when her eyes shot open and she looked at me with love, sadness and worry in her eyes. 

'Don't worry my little mate, you are still part of our family and we all still love you very much and I will never let anything happen to you' I said in one breath as I kissed the top of her head and she rested her head on me. Mum and dad walked in the room and Em looked at them with sadness in her eyes. 'We are sorry angel we did not tell you before because we wanted to keep you safe, but we did not want to make things difficult between your mate and you, so we had to tell you the truth. It is the reason why your wolf's eyes are purple, because you have inherited your mothers powers' mum said and I nodded. 'Emma we would like you to meet Samantha and her son Nate who are also witches and they will help you with understanding your powers, how to control and use them' dad said and I saw Emma look up at the witch who looked nothing more than 25 and her son who actually did not look like her son but her brother. They had similar features, black eyes, curly hair and both were around 5'7 & 5'8. 'Hello Emma, we will meet you in two days, so that you can heal internally and then we will start your training' Sam said and Emma smiled at her.
