Owen sighed loudly, dragging his feet over the floor of the second torch lit corridor. He pulled up his veil, taking a glance behind. The corridor was empty. He dropped his shoulders in tiredness, "Ugh! This is going no where!" He looked down at the goblin stone around his neck, poking it, "Come on, stupid thing! Glow already!" He continued to stride forward, stoping at each door and standing near it—the stone remained dark. He tsked. Owen resumed going further, aiming for the next set of stairs leading to the last top floor—which consisted of the bedrooms of the royal family. He whined, "I forgot how stressful it was to walk around this palace when Alia and I were still here". He reached the stairs, halting to take a short break—The stone shone dimly. His brows quirked. "Finally!"
