Lucien pulled the bridle of his night colored horse, halting the animal at the entrance of the palace. The palace guards quickly raced to him. "Welcome, your majesty!" They bowed in a straight line along the steps up to the door. Lucien unmounted his horse, pulling the horse's bridle to the closest guard.
