June’s POV
“I think the most pressing matter is the Rangers and the Indians. We can’t be safe with either of them stirring up trouble; especially with them on the warpath.”
Claud shook his head as he listened to me. “We should call in the army.”
“What?!” Hank turned his head to him, all of us shocked at the idea.
“Hear me out. We want this done with as little bloodshed as possible, right?” Nods went around, Claud continuing on. “We call in the army, they take over from the Rangers and send them on their way. The men said they had orders to either kill or send the Comanche on their way. The army will probably not know they are wolf people and use regular bullets, effective driving them off.”
“But they need my land; it’s their home.” I protested, not liking the idea of them being driven
