‘Keep it together and aim for the opening in the soldiers!’ I linked my men; four of them falling for good already. ‘As far as they know; we’re the friendly side!’ Another arrow pierced my leg, the silver biting deep into my skin. “Argh!!!” It burnt like fire as it bit into bone as well, the serrated edges doing major damage.
The Indians were right behind us now and the town straight ahead.
