As soon as Adam drove Rena back to her family’s mansion, the rain was pouring down, so Mrs. Hamilton told Adam: "Adam, the rain is so heavy, it's not safe to drive back. You can stay here tonight."
Rena thought that he would decline, but she didn't expect him to ask: "Is there any spare room?"
"Yes, there is one, next door to Rena’s. Rena, take him up."
Rena glanced at Adam, and she also hoped that he would stay, so she didn't complain, and led him upstairs.
"There are quilt and sheets in the closet.” She muttered as she pointed to the door on the right side of her room: "Here, this is the room. I will go in by myself."
