Silke dropped the jeans she was folding onto her bed and clicked the red receiver on the screen.
How would you rate the quality of this call?
What call? She and Alex had been trying for the last ten minutes and still hadn’t managed to say more than hello to one another. Clicking the stupid customer service message away, she was about to try once more when Alex’s profile picture started flashing and the Skype ringtone came on again. This time, no matter how often she pressed the mouse button, the dang thing wouldn’t even let her pick up.
Missed call from Alex Berger.
“Yes, I know!” She fumed at her laptop which already started flashing again. “Alex?”
“Hey! This is ridiculous. Try to reboot or something!”
