* The sun was beginning to set over the forested hills as the hunting party returned to the palace of Mirendor. Princess Sarina rode at the head of the group, her long blonde hair pulled back into a tight braid. She was a skilled warrior, known throughout the kingdom for her prowess with a bow and arrow, and her hunting party had managed to take down a massive stag that would provide enough meat to feed the palace for several days. As they rode through the gates of the palace, Sarina was greeted by her mother, Queen Arina, and her cousin, Caspian.
