Caspian stood in the courtyard of the royal palace, watching as the staff of the palace lined up in front of him. It was time for the census he and Jurien had just organised, and each member of the staff would be assigned a number.
As the first servant approached him, Caspian studied them closely. He was on high alert, his eyes scanning each person for any sign of suspicious behavior. He knew that the shapeshifter was among them, and he was determined to find them before they could do any more harm.
One by one, the staff members stepped forward and received their assigned numbers. Caspian watched them all, studying their faces and their body language. He was looking for any sign of nervousness, any hesitation that might indicate that they were hiding something.
