* The banquet hall was now eerily quiet, with only the sound of footsteps echoing off the walls as Caspian and Jurien made their way towards the victim. The man lay sprawled on the ground, his face contorted in pain, and Caspian stifled his rage as he studied the man’s charred corpse. Jurien stood beside him, clearly uncomfortable with the sight as he refused to look at it. "He died rather swiftly," Jurien announced, looking up at Caspian. "I don't know how it happened. I was watching the whole time, and I never saw anything suspicious." Caspian's brow furrowed in frustration. "This shouldn't have happened," he muttered. "We took every precaution."
