*** Prince Caspian stood in the palace gardens, the moonlight casting a pale glow over the manicured lawns and hedgerows. He hefted his sword in his hand, the gleaming steel reflecting the light of the moon. Across from him stood a knight, Sir Kay, a seasoned veteran of many battles and a trusted advisor to the king. He was the same guard who allowed Caspian to enter the palace on the day of his arrival after he found him fighting with the guards. "Are you ready?" Sir Kay called out, his voice deep and respectful. Caspian nodded, his expression serious. He had been training for years now, and although he was now a grown man and a skilled warrior in his own right, he never stopped striving to improve.
