“So?” Alec prompted.
“What? Oh, you still want to know what I’m afraid of?”
“Yeah. Maybe if it’s something stupid like clowns, I won’t feel so embarrassed here.”
“As far as I know, I’m not afraid of clowns.”
“Really? I thought everybody was afraid of clowns. Didn’t you watch It when you were a kid?”
“Sure, but that didn’t teach me to be afraid of clowns. It taught me to be afraid of Tim Curry.”
Alec chuckled. “Yeah, I could see that. I wasn’t afraid of Tim Curry until I saw Legend.”
“Is that the one with the unicorns?”
“And with a very young and gorgeous Tom Cruise.”
Nick smiled, getting a faraway look in his eye. “I still remember when that movie came out. All my friends were getting boners over Mia Sara. I didn’t tell anybody I went to see it four times because of Tom Cruise.”
