Mona waited for Sarah at the airport wondering what was taking her so long.

She called Sarah on the phone who told her she dropped by at the shopping mall to get few things needed for the journey.

Sarah arrived few minutes later.

"Am so sorry for taking so long. See what I got, a camera...Am not leaving that castle without taking pictures of everything inside it, which includes the princess on her wedding dress".

Mona rolled her eyes thinking maybe it was a bad idea taking Sarah along for she was very nosy and a talkative not to mention the gossipy part of her.

Why didn't she think about all this she thought.

"You know we are not going for a photoshoot, am not even sure we would have time for pictures Sarah".

Thirty minutes later, they were called on board. They left early in the morning to arrive early evening.

MONA

When we finally landed at our destination, a white brand new Limousine waited for us. Sarah and I gaped at the Limo we were to be carried on.

"Mona, are we really going to be riding on that Limo?".

"Its seems so".

Mona tried acting cool even though she was screaming for joy in her mind. She can't give herself away by acting like some outdated country girl.

The driver is well dressed in a styled and well tailored uniform suit looking very big and handsome.

"Wow even the driver is looking very handsome how much more the princess" Mona thought.

He greeted them with a cheerful smile before ushering them into the Limo.

"Wow.. this princess must be very rich, first of all she paid all travel expenses for us, now she sent us a personal driver in a f*****g classy Limousine. Mona tell me we are in a dream world".

"I wish we are but it seems this is reality"

Sarah never stopped admiring the car, she widened her eyes whenever she saw what caught her fancy.

We got into an area where all building seemed the same, this must be an estate. The gate to the estate was opened by two big looking guards. Wow this is strange, all the men have seen since we came into the area are all looking big with muscles.

Even the guards are working out wow...

"I think that's one of the criteria for being hired as a guard or a driver" Sarah said looking at the direction of their driver who continued driving without saying a word to them.

After about an hour's ride inside same estate, the driver announced they have arrived at their destination. In front of them was another gate leading to a building unimaginable.

At the entrance, a blue coloured SUV waited for us which took us into the castle. Never in my life have I ever imagined the existence of such a place.

The castle that seemed near was only farther away from the gate.

When we finally arrived at the castle I was so amazed at it's beauty, it was way

better than those castles we see in barbie.

" Wow..... this place is huge......

Sarah quickly took out her camera trying to take some pictures

"Sarah!, not now... I whispered to her hearing. I was shocked when the driver told me to let her for it was a normal thing for those who visited the castle for the very first time.

My God..just how good are his hearings.

A lady fine middle aged lady stood at the entrance of the door, she gave us a warm smile.

"Welcome to "THE RED MOON CASTLE."

" Wow, the castle has a kinda unique name, very.... interesting.

The interior to the castle was magnificent and beautifully decorated, the mansion shone with royal looking chandeliers.

The chairs shone like they were made of pure gold.

This is what we really call a "Royal Castle".

"Mona, this is way more than I ever imagined.

Oh my God, will I get to meet a Prince as well?".

" Sarah I don't know about a Prince but I sure know we are only here for work, we shouldn't let ourselves be carried away and forgetting what we really came here for. "

"Of course not, our job always comes first. I read sometime ago about the king of the north and from what I heard, he was still young and single. I did my math at home and found out he is the brother to the princess we will be working for.

" My God Sarah..., Can we not talk about the royal family and their history at least not now."

Sarah was just too nosy and who cares about the king being young and single, its not like we are here to be noticed by a king or a prince. By the way I have a boyfriend already.

A very beautiful young lady descended the stairs, looking so much like snow white with a pure white skin, her eyes are emerald green, her hair very long and silky. She looked just like a princess.

Wait a mi..nute. Could this be the Royal princess I will be attending to.

I was about to ask Sarah same question when I found her in a daze with her glasses almost falling off her face.

"Sarah get a grip!". I whispered to her again.

The lady who welcomed us in announced Princess arrival who descended the stairs gracefully in all royalty. She smiled so brightly.

Sarah and I quickly bowed in greetings to her.

"You must be...Mona?

"Yes your Your Highness".

" How nice it is to finally meet you Mona, and this is?.....

"Am Sarah your Highness, Mona's assistant."

"You are all very welcome".

Princess Xena smiled, this time her pearly white teeth shone. Her husband to be must be a very lucky man to deserve such beauty.

We were each given a room we will be staying at for the next one week. Some maids were arranged to attend to our every needs.

Sarah called me later in the night if she could come over my room since her room was besides mine. I agreed because I really wanted to have a good talk with her.

"Mona, I want to thank you very much for taking me along with you, when there was so many others you could have chosen from.

"Am happy to have you here with me Sarah, but you have to stop being nosy okay so as not to put us into trouble, don't forget the customer's review matters a lot in our career".

"I won't be nosy Mona I promise. Did you see how beautiful the princess looked, I was practically drooling over her beauty even as a woman."

"She's indeed a beauty to behold, a true princess." Mona replied.

Meanwhile, Princess Xena, noticed a familiar kind of scent around Mona though It was obvious Mona was human but she smelled like someone very familiar and powerful someone like Damon.....

The next day, Mona woke up at the sound of a howl.

Just as she was about trying to spy on whatever it was howling, Sarah ran into her room like she was being chased.

"Did you hear that Mona", she said wide eyed.

"Could that be a dog?". Sarah asked amidst fear.

The howl pretty much sounded strange to their hearing.

"I don't think so", Mona said.

Mona quickly stood up and headed for the door for she was very curious to see what made such sound.

"Where are you going?."

"To see what's making that sound."

"What!, aren't you scared?".

" No am not".

Mona left Sarah who was still shivering in fear and headed downstairs.

She was shocked to see some of the maids still awake at the middle of the night.

They were shocked to see Mona, for she was human and they had thought she might be scared but from the look of things, this human was fearless.

"Why are you downstairs asked the elderly lady who welcomed them to the castle."

Mona was also very surprised to see them fully awake and gathered at the entrance of the castle at that time of the night.

" I heard a very strange sound outside and I was wondering what it was".

"Huh?, you aren't scared of what that might be and came down here?".

A maid asked looking very surprised at Mona's courage.

"Well if its something that scary I don't think any of you would be down here right?". Mona said looking at everyone of them with a smile.

They were all taken aback at Mona's smartness.

"It's really nothing to worry about, I think it must be some...

"A dog?" Mona asked.

That left everyone extremely perplexed for referring to them as a dog.

"Yea... a dog perhaps..." the maid replied.

"Oh okay, I guess i should go back to my room then" Mona said looking at them weirdly.

They all ushered her back upstairs saying their good nights.

When Mona arrived at her room, Sarah was still there hugging Mona's pillow tightly.

She immediately ran to Mona.

"So did you find out anything?".

"No.."

"What, what took you so long then."

Mona sat on her mind thinking about what happened downstairs.

"You know, I think the maids are strange".

"Huh?, are the maids out there?". Sarah asked looking surprised.

" Yea and the strange thing is I think they are all trying to hide something from me, but I can't tell what that might be. This place is very...strange.

Sarah nodded in agreement.

"You can go back to your room now Sarah, I don't think we would be hearing such sound again."

"Nah... am not going back to my room, can I please sleep here for tonight. Please....."

Mona agreed for she understood Sarah must have been very scared to go back to her room.

She had always been fearless so she was okay with sleeping alone.
