Back at wonder woman, I tried focusing on my work, but my mind still flashes back to that night with the king.

I can't believe I really had s*x with a Royal king.

I know he wasn't a one woman type of man but I still wondered what he saw in me that got him attracted to me.

Since the day I went to his company, he had always been on my mind despite the fact that I kept denying it.

I'm sure he's forgotten me since it was just a night stand and based on his reputation on the society. he never cares for a lady after bedding her a night.

"I have to stop thinking about him, his kisses, and the sex...

"Get a grip Mona!....

This is insane, not at work."

Why can't I just forget about him, its so strange I could heal so easily from my heartbreak but very hard to stop my heart from beating so fast whenever I think about him.

Sometimes I dream about him and that night.

Becca called me everyday just to know how I was feeling for she thought I might still be heartbroken over Jack, but the reverse happens to be the case.

I never thought about Jack anymore, but rather I couldn't stop thinking about someone else.

I couldn't tell my best friend about the king or what we did, she would scream like hell and I don't know what opinion she would have about me.

She might think am a w***e perhaps if she knew.

My night with Damon will be kept a secret till my dying day I suppose.

Sarah was always smiling and constantly on her phone since we came back.

I suspect she must have gotten a boyfriend, but its strange how she could hide that from me considering the fact that she was a blabbermouth and she told me just anything.

Mrs Charlotte came to my office unknowing to me as I was so lost in thoughts.

"Mona, are you okay?, you seemed to be so lost in thoughts.

"Am okay Mrs Charlotte."

"Lest I forget, Mrs Kelly knight Will like to have a word with you in her office and sure its something very urgent as she requests your presence as soon as possible".

" What could Mrs ...want to talk about that is so urgent "

"Okay i will be right there"

"And Mona, don't worry your head too much, if you need someone yo talk to you can always come to me okay?".

" Thank you so very much Mrs Charlotte, you are so nice", I said giving her a hug.

"You are welcome my dear, now run along.."

I quickly headed to Mrs Kelly office.

On my way to the office, I kept thinking about how lucky I was that Mrs Charlotte was my coach.

She's always so nice to everyone specially the employees she coaches.

When I got to her office, I found her arranging some files on her desk through transparent glass window.

I knocked at the office door, waiting for her response.

"You may come in Mona".

I was shocked about how she knew I was the one at the door. Maybe she saw me through the window I guess.

Mrs Kelly smiled brightly upon seeing me.

"Have a sit Mona, there's something I would really want to talk to you about".

"What could that be" I thought. feeling very nervous.

"Am delighted to announce to You that you will officially be transfered to king Damon's modeling company.

You are very lucky Mona, the princess must have really loved your work that the king himself sought for your immediate transfer personally.

" Holy s**t!."

Did I just hear her right?, I will be transferred to th..that company.

No way!..."

"Am sorry ma'am, can I perhaps decline the transfer, I know its a good thing to be in a well known company but... I can't ma'am".

Mona said looking very nervous.

Mrs Kelly raised a brow at Mona as she sensed her fear and wondering why she refused to be transferred.

Mrs Kelly is a she wolf too and King Alpha Damon was a king highly respected. When he had called her requesting for her employee Mona, she knew it wasn't as simple as it seemed.

She had promised to send her over to his Company as soon as possible.

But she had to know why Mona declined the transfer.

'May I perhaps know why you are refusing to be transfered?, besides it will be better if you are there, they will pay you higher as he has offered to pay twice as much as you are being paid over here."

Mona's brow twitched at this statement, but why would Damon request for her when she thought she had finally escaped from him.

She was okay with just dreaming about him and thinking of him each day, but it didn't mean she wanted to be with him.

"Mona, think twice before refusing, am sure you must have known what the King's temper is like, you don't want to close down my company for refusing to be transfered or are you?".

I knew what the consequences for refusal would be, this was all insane how did i get myself entangled into a royal mess.

Though i know the pay at Damon's company was quite attractive and i really needed money for my family's upkeep specially now that Tom will be in college soon.

When i got home, i thought about everything Mrs Kelly told me.

I wondered if i should really accept to be transfered knowing Damon might just want to have his way with me again.

How frustrating life could be when you can't get what you wish for but rather given what you never wanted to have.

I thought about it all through the night, the next morning was weekend and I had no work to go to.

I finally made up my mind to be transferred, all i had to do was make my stand on not having any kind of relationship with him and since he wants me in his company, he will have no choice but to abide by my rules.

I told my parents about me being transferred all the way down to the south and that they shouldn't miss me too much because I will be calling them.

I also told them about how well I will be paid working for my new company,

but I never told them about Jack's breakup or what happened between the king and I.

The next working day, I was surprised to see Sarah so excited.

She walked towards me smiling from ear to ear.

"Mona finally we will be going back to our dream world".

Now am confused. I don't understand what Sarah was on about, what does she mean by dream world.

"What dream world are you talking about?"

" I heard you will be transferred to King Damon's company, luckily I will be transferred too".

"Oh my God, this is like a dream come true, so I will be going with someone very close and its Sarah".

I can't be more happier. We both headed to Mrs Kelly's office to let her know we have accepted her decision.

Meanwhile Sarah and Patrick have been constantly communicating, so she passed on every information she got them about Mona to the King through Patrick.

She quickly informed Patrick that Mona had accepted to be transferred so they will be coming together soon.

Mrs Kelly also informed King Alpha Damon about Mona's agreement.

Mona went back home to prepare for her travel.

Meanwhile, Alpha Damon was very happy to know his mate was finally going to come back to him, he can't imagine his life without her specially now that he has found her.
