Chapter 19 Luca’s Pov The room stayed silent after Damian’s words. I could hear Sienna breathing beside me. Ethan looked confused. Clara looked close to breaking down. Victor looked satisfied like this was the moment he had waited for. Damian kept smiling at me calmly. “You look nervous, Luca.” I forced myself to stay still. “You should not be here.” “But I am,” he replied. “Did you really think you could steal my life forever?” Sienna grabbed my arm softly. “Luca…” I looked at her quickly. Fear filled her eyes, but she still stayed beside me. That alone kept me calm. Victor slowly sat back down. “Well. Since everyone is finally together, maybe we should stop pretending.” Adriana looked shaken. “Victor, this is dangerous.” “Everything about this family is dangerous,” he answered. Damian walked toward the table slowly. “You all look disappointed to see me alive.” Clara suddenly stood up. “Stop it, Damian.” He turned toward her with amusement. “Little sister. You missed me?” “You disappeared for three years,” Clara snapped. “People thought you died.” Damian shrugged carelessly. “I needed time away from this rotten family.” Ethan looked between both of us carefully. “So Luca really is not Damian?” Nobody answered him immediately. Finally, I spoke. “No.” Sienna looked at me slowly. I could see pain in her face, but not shock. Deep down, she already knew the truth. Damian laughed softly. “Wow. Honest at last.” Victor folded his hands together. “Explain everything.” I stared at him coldly. “You already know enough.” “Not from your mouth,” Victor replied. Sienna stepped closer to me. “Luca, tell the truth.” I closed my eyes shortly. There was no reason to hide anymore. “The real Damian survived the crash,” I said quietly. “But nobody knew where he went. I used the opportunity to enter the Vale family.” Ethan stared at me in disbelief. “You stole another man’s identity?” “Yes.” “And married Sienna under a fake name?” I looked directly at him. “My feelings for her were never fake.” Damian clapped slowly with a mocking smile. “Beautiful speech.” Sienna stayed silent beside me. That silence hurt more than Victor’s questions. Victor leaned back. “So why exactly did you infiltrate this family?” I looked at him darkly. “Revenge.” Nobody spoke again. I continued slowly. “Years ago, my family trusted you. My father worked with you. Then suddenly, everything collapsed. We lost everything. My mother died. My sister and I spent years suffering while you became richer.” Victor’s expression became colder. “Business failures happen.” “That was not business,” I said sharply. “You destroyed us on purpose.” Adriana looked nervous now. Damian poured himself a drink casually like this conversation bored him. Sienna finally spoke softly. “Luca… all this time you planned revenge?” “At first, yes.” “And me?” I looked at her carefully. “You were supposed to be part of the plan.” The pain in her eyes grew immediately. “But that changed,” I said quickly. “You changed everything.” Damian laughed again. “You fell in love with your own weapon. Pathetic.” I stepped toward him dangerously. “Keep talking.” Victor raised a hand. “Enough.” But Damian enjoyed pushing me. “Tell her the full truth, Luca. Tell her you watched her long before meeting her.” Sienna turned toward me slowly. “What is he talking about?” I stayed quiet. That silence answered enough. Her face fell instantly. “You investigated me before the marriage?” “Yes.” “How long?” “Months.” Ethan cursed under his breath. “This is insane.” Sienna stepped back from me now. “So every moment between us started with lies.” “No,” I said immediately. “Not every moment.” “You manipulated me.” “I was trying to protect you.” “From what? Yourself?” Her words hit hard because part of them were true. Victor watched everything carefully like he enjoyed our pain. Damian sat beside him lazily. “She finally sees the real you.” I ignored him and focused only on Sienna. “Listen to me. I never wanted to hurt you.” “But you did.” The hurt inside her voice almost destroyed me. Clara suddenly spoke. “Sienna, Luca is not the only liar here.” Everyone looked toward her. She took a shaky breath. “Victor knew Damian was alive months ago.” Victor’s face darkened. “Clara.” “No,” she replied firmly. “I am tired of hiding things.” Damian smirked. “Careful, sister.” Clara ignored him. “Victor kept Damian hidden because he wanted control over the company. He used Luca because he thought he could control him, too.” Victor stood up angrily. “Enough.” But Clara continued. “And Damian agreed because he wanted money and freedom.” Sienna looked shocked. Ethan frowned deeply. “This family is completely insane.” Damian only smiled wider. “Maybe.” I looked at Victor coldly. “You used all of us.” Victor slammed his glass down hard. “I protected this empire.” “You protected yourself,” Clara replied. Suddenly, another voice interrupted from the doorway. “You are all forgetting something.” Roman Vescovi walked inside calmly with two guards behind him. Sienna froze beside me. “Roman?” He smiled slightly. “Good evening.” Victor looked irritated. “Who allowed you inside?” Roman ignored him completely. His eyes stayed on Sienna. “I came because Noah disappeared again.” Her face lost colour instantly. “What?” “He escaped from one of my safe houses this morning,” Roman explained. “Now other dangerous people are searching for him.” Sienna looked terrified. “Why did you not tell me sooner?” “Because tonight became entertaining.” I moved closer protectively. “Do not play games with her.” Roman looked amused. “Relax, Luca. I actually came to help.” “Why?” “Because somebody else found Noah first.” The room became tense again. Sienna grabbed Roman’s arm desperately. “Who has my brother?” Roman’s expression turned serious for the first time. “Gabriel Moretti.” My entire body froze. Impossible. Sienna looked confused. “Your father?” I stared at Roman coldly. “My father is dead.” Roman shook his head slowly. “No. He has been alive this whole time.” Damian’s smile disappeared for the first time tonight. Victor suddenly looked uneasy, too. Roman reached into his jacket and placed a photograph on the table. I picked it up slowly. My hands started shaking immediately. It was my father. Alive. Standing beside Noah. And behind them was a gun pointed directly at Noah’s head.
